While Shane is proud of himself for the ruse and for the ability to explore new places after away games, Ilya handles the new rumor with grace and dignity. hi! i’m looking for a specific fic that i read a while back. in it, shane is some kind of mythological creature that turns into a horse or something in the water? he saved ryan when they were both younger but they don’t remember until towards the end of the story. there’s a scene where shane gives ryan a bridle (family heirloom) while he’s transformed, giving him the choice to put it in his mouth, but ryan tosses it away. i know it’s oddly specific but if you can find it i’d appreciate it!
