Post 160: Mexico demands apology from Spain and the Vatican over conquest

The new Mexican President - Mr López Obrador - has come into power with a left-wing agenda.

He has now sent letters asking for an apology from Spain and the Vatican for the conquest and massacres of the original Mexican region. 

Spain rejected the call and called for a "constructive perspective" instead. The Spanish leader has said these massacres should not be considered with a modern day perspective.

I believe an apology should be made as that would put the atrocious past behind these two nations and only bring fraternity in the future.
