American Obscurist
Another teaser because my dyslexic ass doesn't know if it makes sense or not
After thanking the young obscurist and confirming she's made the script non-lethal, Morgan set off in search of the rebel leader. Anger seared through her veins but was thrown off by her sudden exhaustion and lack of energy. Morgan could barely see straight yet carried on aimlessly searching with the sudden realisation that she must of activated the original script while altering it. At this point Morgan was driven by pure stuborness to carry on oh I will have Rosa by her neck when I see her!
this is already out there but oh well i thought of this on my own
ok so a theory about Ariana Dumbledore
So like... Why wasn't Harry an obscurist?????
But help why doesn't Harry have an obscurist? I need to understand
I need the people of the HP fandom. So why wasn't Harry an obscurist?
Obscurists-potential spoilers
Spoilers. I don't know how to do a break on mobile. I'm trying to be vague. I've seen posts how certain characters could have become obscurists. I disagree with two of the most popular theories. One thing to keep in mind: most obscurists are less than 10 yrs old. Most die before then. Harry: despite the abuse, Harry never hated who he was. He didn't try to suppress his magic. The Dursleys did. He hated them for their measures to suppress him. Even at the star of PS/SS, he still mentioned his flying motorcycle "dream" to his uncle, knowing he hated the mention of magic. I would say his risk of becoming one is low. The obscurist in Fantastic Beasts knew they had magic and hated it. They suppressed their ability and was raised with people teaching how horrible magic was. Tom Riddle: one of Voldemort's core traits is that he loves being different and more powerful than everyone else. Even when Dumbledore came to him to bring him to Hogwarts, he was annoyed at how many other wizards could do what he could do. He mentioned talking to snakes as a way to prove he was different and more powerful. He didn't try to hide his abilities. He used them to scare people. He was incapable of hating himself. So despite the potential for apocalypse fanfics, I would say his risk of ever being an obscurist is incredibly low and virtually non-existent. Ariana Dumbledore: yes. I would say she meets the criteria perfectly. She was bullied for her magic. Her magic was uncontrollable. She was very young when all this happened. So yes, I support this theory and have no holes to poke in your theory.
