I made these for my Dragon Age ocs, now it's time to make them for other ocs! (Or at least for Miriam. Because she's currently on my mind)

SUBJECT: Reckoning | Secret Identity: Miriam Basri
Gender: Female (cis)
Sexuality: Mostly lesbian
Description: An average Middle Eastern woman in her thirties with brown eyes and curly black hair in a short undercut. Her sense of style is androgynous, grungy and casual, with no visible piercings. Her vice are cigarettes.
Standard of living: Miriam is well-off. Miriam is living in a cheap, shitty apartment to avoid suspicion from Ortega (and because she believes she doesn’t deserve anything nice).
Miriam Basri is a seasoned, streetwise tactician.
Criminal path: anarchist. Reckoning is known as a meddler and rabble-rouser. She is openly known as a telepath. She actively cultivates her reputation and fanclub, and is sincere about her motives. She has monologued at nearly everyone she’s crossed blows with, trying to convince them of her position. She has not killed, and has indeed saved civilians.
Armored Suit: Reckoning's suit is utilitarian and nondescript. The cape is thick and heavy, an extra layer of concealment and protection. In its left hand, the suit has a neutered colony of nanovores, functionally similar to having disintegration touch. The suit is also equipped with telepathic boosters and enhanced speed as well as jump-jets.
Back in the day, Sidestep was known as a hero closely associated with the Rangers.
Main Puppet name: John, a short white man in his twenties, with hazel eyes and short, wild wavy light brown hair.
Miriam is suicidal, is scared of that, and is hoping therapy will help. She has the Outsider scar and her motivation is justice. Her nemesis was Ortega and then changed to her past self.
Hollow Ground thinks Reckoning is a useful recruit. Miriam has avoided being threaded.
Retribution ending: selfstuck selfcrash guilty; got broken out by Ortega
Romanced Julia Ortega. Ortega thinks Reckoning has a point. Friends with Dr. Mortum. Miriam told her the truth, met her in person & delivered her gun.
Friends with Chen. Chen wondered if Reckoning even was a villain.
Friends with and coach to Herald. Humiliated him at the gala.
Lady Argent is respectful towards her, and impressed by Reckoning. Reckoning revealed that she was a Re-Gene to her. Miriam has traded in the Regenerator in return for not being scarred.

Has relative pitch; can hum along with most pop songs she doesn’t know and
Really good at peopleing in the ranges of “casual conversation” to “casual acquaintances”. Not good at the rest
Only has lamps whose beam she can direct. The lightbulbs are mostly facing the wall to provide indirect lighting. In her Sidestep days, she had fairy lights
Cannot stand bland food (reminds her of the Farm); loves strong flavors, and leans towards bitter/burn-y foods. Special favorites: any kind of spice cranked way up, liquorice, very intense coffee, lemon juice. Other than that, she likes Mexican, Chinese and Lebanese cuisine, but also appreciates a burger with some (salty!!) fries Cannot stand food that is too sweet. Loves stiff and heavy jackets. Very grounding. Feels like armor

UNFUN FACTS:
The stat that most changed during her playthrough was Daring/Cautious, and it really ping-ponged around. Down and depressed can ramp up her self-neglect tendencies or her paranoia. Happy can make her either cautious in just the right amount or sure she’ll win
Tends to lash out in anger when pressed, which can morph into prey rage
LOVES dogs. Will adopt a dog in the future. Actually acts very similarly to Chen?
Has been in love with Ortega ever since Julia drunk kissed her at a party. Didn’t act on it bc Charge was not into women (read: not out at the time). The YEARNING
Always aware of where the exits are. Keeps an unloaded gun in her studio apartment in easy reach. Does not cook to avoid needing to own knives. Has suicide-proofed her apartment. Her suicidal urges are mostly intrusive thoughts and she’s not actively suicidal (but she is passively)
Her Outsider scar mostly manifests in her feeling like she’s “standing two feet to her left”; like she’s watching a scene unfold that she can’t influence & the only thing she can do is follow the script provided for her.
Has been sexually abused at the Farm. Regina Siepen was her primary handler at the time, and the primary perpetrator. Miriam had complicated feelings about that, because she did often feel pleasure in those moments and liked it. She didn’t truly realize how bad the Farm was until her 2nd capture
Used to present very femeninely bc that’s the way the Farm would dress her up to pretend she was a “real” human, but hated long hair all along. Had a breakdown over it when she first got her undercut, but worked it out with Themmy and Julia
Her cover stories during her time as a cuckoo have included: arm candy for some important guy, waitress, substitute background singer, receptionist.
As Reckoning, she jokes, leans into the theatrical, and is an idealist. As John, she’s suave, charming, and pragmatic. Miriam is driven, but a mess, and a recluse.
Sensitive to hot weather; only survived her first escape bc a kind stranger picked her up on the highway and offered her a meal & a goodie bag at their home
Touch-starved but also panics if touches are unexpected, from behind and encircling her, or when she’s feeling threatened
Her mindspace looks like a dog park surrounded by high concrete walls under a concrete grey sky. The concrete walls have emergency doors in them that can only be opened from the other side. That’s where she keeps all her trauma :D Doors open during flashbacks.

What about Miriam’s DNA donor? Sakineh Ghanbari, youngest daughter and apple of the eye of her parents, who were Kurdish immigrants from Iran. She was carefree, a real whirlwind of a person, and very reckless. Her parents and her two brothers (Farid, the oldest, and Masoud, the second-oldest) arrived in Los Angeles in 1979 to escape the socio-political turmoil accompanying the Iranian Revolution. Sakineh’s older sister Nasrin, the current Hollow Ground, was born shortly after their arrival. A year later, the family would have to survive the Year of Hell in this unfamiliar country, which significantly shaped all of them. Sakineh however was born after this time of trouble.
