I've been told that almost all my characters are queer (specifically in a way that implies that this is a bad thing) and I ???? Guess I can kind of understand this????

I don't think that it's bad to have a lot or all queer characters, that should be fine. I do understand people liking to have a variety of characters, which includes some not being queer, which is fine to want. I don't think it's good to dislike an all-queer cast though. If you don't like it then just make you own characters that aren't queer? It's MY characters, why should it upset anyone that they're all queer???

Sorry, I just keep thinking about this. It's making me start to feel guilty about having the vast majority of my characters be queer even though that shouldn't really matter.

When you have so many ideas and lore tidbits that your trying to put into one story, now my notebook looks like im in some cult or some theorist that is trying to solve some murder mystery. Yeah, I have a lot of oc lore to the point I made a goddamn family tree to start explaining to myself if my lore even makes sense!

i have spent .. 5 MONTHS... trying to create this man.

After collaging two of his 3 reference sheets, treating this man as my doll as i Frankenstein his parts together, redrawing his face for the 100th time ...

he finally looks how ive wanted him.

i am finally satisfied

i do not CARE about doing expressions or hair RN, i can only stare at his inimitable face for so long before wanting to punch my own. Lighting will never strike here again and i am FINE with that.

Trying to make any visualisation of your ww2 media oc when you cant draw ( I like to say I’m learning but cant even trace art ) is so hard. All the templates that exist are for kawaii girls or fantasy oc’s. I want a picture of my miserable soldier !
