hi tumblr, i came here because i found out someone i had already addressed in the past is stealing my old art style and on top of that has stolen my oc that i never posted to tumblr because i stopped using tumblr (as i wasn't gaining much attraction).

user lettucs on here has been mimicking my old style for a long time, i've listed all of this on my twitter in a thread which you can read here: (please do)

i'm not going to repeat everything i said on twitter i highly encourage you check that thread out on your own time, i'm here to set a boundary: do not trace or copy my art style old or new. you can take inspiration just please don't blatantly steal my old art identity. DO NOT HARASS THIS PERSON AT ALL. they have me blocked, i don't want anyone to go out of their way and attack a 14 year old on my behalf.

my biggest thing is them stealing my OC yevan, which i never posted here and that's possibly why they took him. tracing my art and stealing my oc is absolutely wrong. so please don't impersonate me, or steal my stuff. again inspiration is awesome i'm happy for people to take some from me but not copy this much.

phew ! never thought the day would come where i'm backed into a position like this , but here goes.

do not witch-hunt nor harass them either please ; this person was my friend from around ~feb 2024 to ~mid dec 2024. in that time we were very close, and had a shared server (actually, several shared servers) with my now fiance, who i'll just refer to as naut. we made characters, concepts, and all kinds of things together. after our falling out, they blatantly ripped off one of my fiance's oc from design to palette, and made some vague and blatant references to another.

the user "dave" is my fiance.

and here is their blatant ripoff ;;

the first time we noticed the copied design was actually several months back as they had it as their pfp; back then, we had no way to interact with them, so confrontations were limited. when confronted by our mut (titanic) in an old, shared group chat they were in, they left with no comment.

this isn't even the only example, but at this point in time i am just so drained and angry and disappointed. i have tried to make amends with this person, and they have proven time and time again that they are nothing but childish, immature, petty and unwilling to smooth things out.

their username is also whimsycle on discord. please be extremely wary of this person. they have been such a hurtful figure, and copied a very near and dear oc of my fiance of which i treasure also.

One of My OCs got Stolen (A post)

This may be a long one but, I feel I need to bring this up incase you see my OC around and the credit to her ownership isn't me. PLZ don't go after anyone! I simply wanna show that my OC is being stolen and used without my permission.

So for some context, 2 friends & I started a Facebook group for MLP collecting, I wanted to make a OC to represent our group and symbolize our friendship. Then some disagreements happened and "AD" the person who stole my oc banned and removed both me and my friend from our group

I understand we had our differences and was ok with not being friends. But after they banned us they began to make a discord server based off the group and changed the profiles to my OC "sapphire swap" and asked for art of "Their Girl"

This didn't seem fair to me. I made the OC based off our friendship, but since we weren't friends anymore, I assumed sapphire was just mine sense I made her so I made a post introducing you guys to her!

Here is the convo of the 3 of us making her Red - Ad (the one who stole her) Blue - My other friend I'll call Blue

I Never gave them permission to use her or have her, But I also never said they couldn't use her, that's on me, I assumed they would respect the end of our friendship enough to discard her, maybe make a new OC for the group since they clearly wanted nothing to do with us.

TLDR I let them know I was not ok with this & asked them to stop using her. Idk if they will listen but I wanted to at least let you guys know there is art of her that was made for "AD" and if you see work of her around and she isn't credited to me. Lmk and to let the artist know

I don't condone any attacks to this person, I don't want any malicious intent I just want my oc to be just mine and not used for a community that my friend and I where shunned in. if you wish to take any action report the group and discord for stolen art (discord in group desc)

CHARACTER PLAGIARISM

hello everyone! I was in Pinterest today and found this. a man brazenly stole my character, exposing him to himself without any notice or permission.

I often sit in Niji Ai in order to generate a picture with my OC for personal use, and just to admire it. I often generate BNHA-style art with her to attach images to role-playing posts with my best friend. But in Niji Ai, everything is arranged in such a way that everything you generate is seen by other users. I assume that this person saw my failed generations, and decided that he could take the character for himself. I understand perfectly well that the images themselves are AI, but the character's design was drawn by hand and from scratch, after which it was recreated in AI for personal use. The screenshots show all the evidence that I am the owner of the character. This character is already 10 years old, she has seen quite a few redesigns hahaha, but do you know what remains unchanged? The fact that she always looks 80% like me in real life. In fact, her appearance is based on my appearance and style of clothing. The camera, the red hair, the hat, the green clothes - I myself walk steadily in all this, in fact, she is me, to put it bluntly. Please help me. I'm asking you very much.🙏 I will leave links to these pins. This thief has Comments closed under these pins, and the rest are open. I've already tried to write to Pinterest support, but they haven't answered me yet. I also duplicated this information on another social network, telegram. Please send a complaint to this account. I'm more than sure that I'm not the only one who got hurt, because he probably has someone else's characters there.

posting an oc/exposure

hi! I’m sillipede, an artist/oc maker and I’ve come to find an ex friend of mine have gone out of their way to steal MY original characters, not just one but multiple of my ocs, to which I can provide proof for. I am hurt and outright disgusted by the actions they have taken especially considering how they blocked me out of the blue and cut contact for seemingly no reason.

the first set of oc screenshots shown have their profiles locked so I can’t link them, unfortunately as it would lead to nothing, however I can link the “creators” Toyhouse where further proof can be shown

these ocs are characters I took time in making and I am beyond hurt they would think it was okay to block me and then steal what I made for nothing.

If anyone sees my art posted elsewhere like Amiibo or discord and claim that it is theirs, please let me know and report them. In the fallout fandom especially I had to hunt down so many art and OC thefts.

A fear of mine is having my OCs stolen, as I'm sure a lot of you can agree. They aren't just some random OC slapped into a fandom. They are a piece of me too, and a lot of work has gone into them! I've had Kaite, Lennie, Sven, and Leanna for over 13 years 😭
