In the epilogue of their journey, Dane and Emelie finally get their spring wedding; the moment being more joyful than they ever dreamed possible with their first on the way.
Sun in a wedding dress.
SUN IN A WEDDING DRESS!!!!!!!!!
You know if she got married to Emmy she'd be sobbing with joy the entire goddamn wedding. Her vows would be incomprehensible because they'd be mumbled, barely even so, through weeping and a waterfall of tears so steady that soon the wedding venue would flood with said tears and everyone would drown.
...Also Sun is 100% wearing platform shoes beneath that dress.

Everything Naomi and Orochimaru had endured in each of their own individual journeys, as well as how much their own bond had been forged through turmoil and growth, had led up to this day. This momentous occasion, an occurrence most claimed ‘only happens once in your life!’ One that the Senju had grown to believe may never come to her.
Romance had never been a priority for her. She spent most of her adulthood chasing after her old sensei to bring him to justice. She’d formed various bonds, deep emotional and even romantic ones, with many men and women across the five great nations. But none of them were marriage worthy, all uncommitted but wonderful moments that built up her past.
And never in all those years of chasing Orochimaru did she ever think it would lead to this day, under the warm autumn sun where she’d marry the very Snake Sannin. And yet, his little mouse had found herself in this position. She had even been the one to ask him to marry her, after years of working together after he’d been pardoned. Spent time training Mitsuki together, and helping Orochimaru. And he had never asked, never even made a move. But the closer they had become, and the more… domestic light she had begun to see him in so often… she couldn’t deny her own feelings. Confessing, spending months properly dating and figuring this new dynamic out before she got on one knee after the sun had set one evening. Despite his shock at each new development, Orochimaru accepted the changes and, while still being himself… allowed his little mouse to try and keep him on the right path.
And so, as multi-colored fall leaves cascaded around them in the light breeze, the two made a vow they’d take to their graves. To always love one another, to accept the other may make mistakes, so long as they stayed together and pushed one another in the right direction… their love would guide them. It sounded just as cheesy as expected, coming out, resulting in laughter and awkward smiles.
But after their first kiss, and they were officially wed, Naomi pulled her new husband to the side. The first photo even reflected that fact: Orochimaru’s stiff expression and pose beside Naomi’s bright smile. But by the time the second had been taken, the two had begun bickering, laughing, and loosening up. Resulting in the final photo showing the couple's true colors.

Fun fact of the day: my fav bg color to use when I draw 2 foxes is red! It's a symbol of love, luck, but for 2 foxes, it's also a hint to their bloody deaths since I mostly use a dark, blood like tone of red.
I gotta say, two and a half years has done wonders for my art.
I've also thought a lot more about wedding ceremonies so below is a long shpiel about that.
They don't have rings to exchange. Instead, before the ceremony the bride is wearing a flower crown, and once they are declared husband and wife she will put it on the groom's head and he'll wear it for the rest of the day.
Another detail is that wedding dresses are generally designed short or slitted to show the woman's knees, because previous to marriage she would have kept them covered.
The wedding takes place with the bride and groom standing inside a circle of some sort to represent eternity and purity.
I wasn't sure about them wearing white because in this world because white is associated with death, but it still represents undyed, unaltered, sincerity so I decided to leave it. (also I wanted to still match the og picture)
The embroidery on Haashi's shoulders means: love forever; and the embroidery on Nartha's shoulders means: powerful promise.
Yes, Nartha is standing on her toes and still only comes up to Haashi's nose.
Yes, Haashi wore shorts and flip flops to his wedding. Generally they would both be barefoot but this was as close as Kona could get him.
Yes, Haashi broke into tears in front of Nartha's whole family, but as a special favor to their beloved daughter/sister they didn't rib him about it for a whole week.
