And now for the musical equivalent of my drawings. (I don't know what the volume will be like on your device, but it does get pretty loud on mine so, uh, be prepared for that.)

just discovered this weird instrument existed, the theremin, which was created all the way back in 1919. I mean, look at this cover of Somewhere Over the Rainbow made by one!
I can't help but imagine Ford discovering such an instrument and deciding that it's the instrument he wanted to play on the side and putting a lot of effort into learning it. Purely because it's very odd and very beautiful and something he'd have to work on mastering (he loves a challenge). I'm not sure how his extra fingers would affect his playing, based on how much the fingers are used to play it well, but I get the vibe that Ford would become pretty good at it regardless.
I think he'd be self-conscious about playing in front of others, having deeply rooted insecurities about his extra fingers and playing an instrument that accentuates them in the way it does after all. He'd probably just stick to playing it for himself, lost in the oddity and beauty that he'd come to adore. At least until someone catches him playing it. Maybe Fiddleford. Or one of the twins. or heck, even Stan if we're going that far in the future. and they'd compliment him and consequently break him out of his shell for the most part.
anyway, just a neat headcanon for a neat instrument I wanted to share after I literally just discovered this instrument's existence. what do you guys think?
Not usually what I post, but I felt it was merited.
