                  the female’s body tensed once she saw negan stop in front of ferris with the bat in her face and vivienne’s heart stopped right then and there. she had taken the other in when she needed it the most, considering ferris like one of her OWN if she were to have any and like hell if anyone thought vienna was gonna be okay with negan choosing the younger female as his revenge on their group for killing the saviors. “ no, no, no, leave her alone! you hear me, asshole?! you want someone, kill me! ” she pleaded, tearing filling in her eyes as they traveled over to the other female who looked terrified before the brunette stood up on her feet and quickly made her way to ferris.

                  hands were roughly gripped on her clothes that began to pull her back, she began to try and fight back AGAINST their hold before watching the barbed wire bat indent into ferris’ skull harshly. vivienne screamed as tears came down her face and her anger built up even more causing her to give it all she got at trying to escape from the male holding her back. “ FERRIS! ” the scream happened after the second hit to the girl and that’s when her body fell forward, brown hues looking at ferris’ limp body. she had so much of her life to live ahead of her, vivienne felt like she failed at saving her this time. vivienne could’ve given herself straight to negan and ferris would still be breathing. her heart breaks slowly as she watched the blood drain from the young girl’s head. “ i’m so sorry…” those were the last words vivienne could get out.

Ryan knows that thought process all too well. The idea that it didn’t matter what happened to him. So long as nobody else was getting hurt, it was fine that he was. It made him feel a little sick to his stomach seeing someone else think that way. As much as he failed to recognize the fault in thought when it came to himself, it was more blatant when coming from someone else.

“Hey…” He started frowning and moving his hand up some, going to rest it on her shoulder, though he merely let it drop back to his side. He didn’t want to over step his bounds, “Look it’s not my, y’know business why you think that way. But it’s not true. You matter. Every here matters. What happens to you? It matters. You being safe is important,” 

he nodded to himself, solidifying the thought in his own head, “And I’m not gonna pry. Hate that. But if you need to y’know, talk or whatever? I’m fine being an ear to listen to.”

              ❝ question ; are those walls designed to keep us in, or the dead people out ? ❞ as good of an idea as building giant walls to protect the people living here, lydia couldn’t help but be a LITTLE skeptical. after all, if new york had fallen so quickly, how likely was it a small town with no military presence could last longer ? even with walls.

       “Hey, Ferris, right?” They’re used to getting new dancers in, they’ve barely gone a WHOLE dance season with the same team, but somehow this feels different. “You’re new around here.” If James were still around, he might have offered a sarcastic comment about how observant she was but he picked his band over dancing; he picked his band over her. Somehow, she shakes the thought away, offering forth her hand with an open-mouthed smile. “I’m Riley.”
