Who is the most affectionate? Tifa, without a doubt. She knows her mind and her heart and she isn't afraid to show Cloud exactly what he means to her, be that with running him a bath at the end of a particularly hard day, making him a coffee in the morning complete with a complimentary kiss on the brow, or even poking light fun at him from time to time. Cloud very clearly adores Tifa, and he shows that in many ways, but Tifa certainly shows it far more readily.
Who initiates the handholding? Usually Tifa, though after a time it has become habitual to seek comfort from Cloud this way and he will always return the gesture without batting a single blond eyelash~
Who worries more for the other? Tifa, though perhaps a little needlessly at times. Cloud has been through the wars and back again, there's no doubt about that and sometimes it can seem that Tifa doesn't always give Cloud as much credit as is due for his mental resilience. That isn't to say that this is a bad thing, not at all. She has his back and supports him whatever he does though they have been known to bicker when Cloud sometimes has to point out that she is his partner, not his mother. Tifa just has a big heart with a lot of love and care to give and Cloud is usually at the centre of all of that. He likes the attention really~~
Who is more likely to ask for help? Tifa of course. Cloud is a stubborn buffoon who likes to do things his own way and mostly by himself. He does have tell-tale signs of when he's feeling overwhelmed or lost, and Tifa is exceptionally skilled at noticing them. But she is the type to just outright ask if she needs something from him.
Who is the one always losing the keys? Cloud. It's always Cloud and he's had to knock her out of bed a couple of times when he's locked himself out of the bar.
Who leaves little love notes for the other? Tifa, all sappy and lovey-dovey they could be considered a little cringeworthy sometimes to anyone on the outside looking in. But not to Cloud, he adores them and he's kept every single one she's written for him in a little shoebox stored in the lowest drawer of his bedside table. Shhhh... you didn't hear that from me!
Who can’t sleep unless the other is there? They both struggle with this though perhaps Cloud more so than Tifa. Where Tifa can drift off to sleep without him there she will wake up in the night and paw at the sheets searching for him before drifting to sleep again. Cloud on the other hand will just lay there staring at the ceiling, or tossing and turning if Tifa isn't there to spoon with.
Who is more likely to propose to the other? Cloud, but in an unorthodox fashion. There wouldn't be a grand gesture as such, and he certainly wouldn't do it in a public space.
Who introduced the other to their family first? They didn't. The families already knew each other long before either of them were even born. If anything Claudia introduced Cloud to Tifa when they were very little. He blushed so hard he thought his skin was going to fall off his face. He cried a little that night after embarrassing himself like that in front of his mom and the pretty girl next door.
Who is more likely to play with the other’s hair? They both indulge in this practice. Tifa even taught Cloud how to braid her hair even if he's a little sloppy at it~
Who makes sure the other has meals/stays hydrated? Tifa, of course it would be Tifa! Cloud has sometimes accused her of trying to fatten him up with some of the hearty meals she's made for him, but truth be told he does truly enjoy her cooking and he is guilty for not eating when out on the road. He claims he doesn't have the time... truth is Cloud is actually just lazy.
Who is more likely to stand up to anyone for the other? Cloud. Tifa is naturally coy and doesn't actually enjoy confrontation though she will speak up if anyone tries to diss Cloud. But Strifey is dangerously protective over Tifa and anyone who attempts to hurt her in any way will feel the force of his wrath one way or another. It would bode well not to try anything when Cloud is around.
Who is the most likely to prepare a surprise for the other? Tifa. Though not because Cloud is thoughtless per se, but because he simply isn't wired up to plan or think that far ahead. He need's prompting into such things by an outside source.
Who makes the other pinky promise not to do certain things? Tifa, and Cloud hates it. Usually he will try to wriggle his way out of making such promises, but nine times out of ten he will relent because even he knows it's important to realise that he actually has a family to think about... as unorthodox as it is.
Who puts a blanket over the other when they fall asleep on the couch? Cloud. He works long and unforgiving hours some days, so it's quite often that he will find Tifa passed out on the sofa of an evening. Though if he doesn't actually put a blanket over her, he'll just carry her to bed instead and do it there.
