I just finished rewatching the first ep of second season, i cannot describe its brilliance. The dynamics are so powerful and so on point, the writing and everything amazed me for the nth time. Even when they have an argument or it seems like a small, normal scene…

He didn’t mean to spill the iced americano on your thin white shirt. Believe it or not, barista!Jeno got distracted by you. The love sick puppy literally fell for you and tripped on his own feet.

He’s seen you regularly in the cafe. Everyday as you come by and drink your daily caffeine at the window seat, he’ll steal shy glances at you. Sometimes you’ll read your favorite book. Most times you’ll sit there and stress over your homeworks. If he's lucky and exams week are over, he’ll hear you giggle once in a while. There were times that you’ll have a mini breakdown session, crying before you get your shit together and finish your work.

Jeno finds you quite amusing and cute. Soon, he develops this crush on you but he was such a wuss for not trying to approach you. This boy couldn’t even give you your order. He’ll find someone to give it instead because he was too shy—too afraid that you’ll hear his loud erratic heartbeat.

“That was my fave shirt.” Your soft huff snap him from his reverie. With wide eyes, the panicked boy grabbed tissues out of instinct. He pats the tissue on the wet blotch on your shirt because of the coffee that he spilled. Jeno's face turn red. This is not what he imagined that your first meeting to be.

"Uhm," A nervous chuckle leaves your lips as you try to grab the hands of the nervous boy in front of you. "Er-You're wiping my chest."

His shaky hands finally stops, realizing what's happening.

"Oh," He whispers, looking at the tissue and then to your face.

"Ohhh," This time, Jeno was aware of everything. He felt his face become hotter in every passing second. God fucking bless you for not being awkard because Lee Jeno was a very awkward teenager.

Stay calm, just stay calm. His mind basically yelled at him.

He gives you his ever so charming eye smile. This only made you giggle before face palming, muttering a 'this is so embarrasing but he's tryin' to be cute so I think I'll go soft on him.'

Okay smooth. She thinks you're cute now compliment her. Afraid to lose his momentum, he blurts out whatever compliment that he can think of at the moment.

"Y-you have very soft boobs."
