guys i have drawn so much scarian today you have no idea
What if Void has a crush on you (maybe you help him out occasionally in one of the medical wards) but you don’t pick up on this, and one day Void drops by your room/barracks/whatever at the end of his shift to drop off some documents you so carelessly left in his office. When you open your door he isn’t prepared to see you in a fitted t-shirt and shorts with your hair down (if this applies to reader) and hhh.
You’re not flustered at all with him seeing you in chill civvies because you subconsciously figure that nothing can really impress him body-wise, right? He’s a medic, he’s seen everything, so no need to kind of cover up like you might around the other boys or for the general public when you’re on duty. But seeing your bare legs and a bit of tummy is doing things to him.
oH MY GOD OH MY GOD YESSSSS
like he just blue screens bc like?? all he really gets to see each day are his brothers and the armor like, RARELY does he see civilian lounge wear and oOf he has such a crush on you too and damn if you dont look like a snACK RHDJDN
Topaz. Hal. I know you worked on that translator device together so im asking both of you but either of you is fine honestly - im DYING for i need to learn more about nomaian NOW. please tell me sometihng about how they talk please please please
Hello! It's Hal, Topaz let me take over this one.
The most interesting, and most difficult, part of Nomaian is probably the syntax. Both Hearthian and what I've learned is called "English" (the language you are speaking, I assume? Most of these things get translated before we get them, so I'm not sure) put adjectives before nouns, adverbs before verbs, and so on. The description comes before the described.
The Nomai do it differently, putting the described before the description, like "a tree green." Now, that on its own isn't all that confusing - it's just a simple switch, you can figure that out easily. The problem is that things like species names are also treated like descriptions. What humans (I assume that's what you are? Sorry if I'm wrong) might call trout, the Nomai would call "fish, trout." Or, to translate more literally, "fish of the trout variety." Again, that on its own isn't too hard to figure out! But once you start describing specific species, it gets.. complicated.
As an example, to describe a rock: "a stone of the igneous variety, shiny and black. Likely a stone of the obsidian variety."
Talking to Solanum has been.. interesting, to say the least.
Hehe Guess who
Hint: im kinda new
Oh dear, I’m terrible at these
first guess based on the vibes of ‘kinda new’?
@chillypenguin or maybe @silvertheindignantfox?
When you’re excited to to go home for the summer and take a break from the stress of college that seems to be ripping you apart, except your hit in the face over and over again why you spent your entire childhood wanting to go no contact with your family
You prefer males over females yes? What if your offspring prefers the same gender as themselves, similar to you?
He looks irate.
[Nineveh is not even one year of age, do not dare to ask such questions about her. She will obviously be attracted to men.]
