Hello!
If you're seeing this, you might be knowing of this blog, you might be a mutual, a follower or stumbling upon this blog for the first time. I hope you're all doing well or holding it well, pushing through hard while being gentle on yourself.
This might not come as surprise or might be but I'm writing this to say goodbye.
I have been writing fanfics for 8 years, 3 years dedicated to this platform. I had started writing as a coping mechanism, to escape the burden of real life.
joonsytip was a name I just randomly came up for the sake of making an account here, but after all these years it feels heavy on tongue, it's not just random anymore, it has an identity. I was nervous when I decided to switch up platform and posted my first fic here but thank you everyone for accepting it and motivating me to continue writing. I'm grateful to everyone who loved my works and made sure to let me know and made it known. I just cannot emphasize how much it means to me.
I made a lot of friends here, worked on collaboration projects, brainstormed ideas and went crazy over the fics written by the talented authors. I'll be here, lurking around, commenting, reposting and sliding into DMs. I'll be present but just not writing.
I have already written some fics which will be posted (not in fixed order or time whatsoever). The purpose of doing so is to not let the blog stay stagnant while I stop writting. Please show them love, as always I'll be looking forward to the feedbacks.
My asks and DMs will be always open, hmu if I cross your mind.
Sorry this went long, but if you reached here, just know that I love you, I wish you best and I'll see you when I see you.

Cam you draw more Daynap or other ships?
Take this.
Okay so Nevermore rant ahead! Hate all yall want but this is just a thing I couldn't shake off.
I can overlook narrative inconsistencies (sometimes only). That's okay because it's a hell lotta work and the art itself takes time (as an artist myself I have a hugeee respect for the creators of Nevermore for committing to full color panels). Also I understand the literary references too. But what I've noticed (plus some readers as well too have noticed) is that how the black characters and characters of colour are being handled. for example, when talking of black characters like Duke and Benerice, Duke has a neutral spectre and Benerice has malevolent spectre. And Duke was almost killed in one of the chapters too. The white characters are mostly "redeemed" (even when they try to kill or manipulate the other poc characters) or framed as a center of concern in some way or the other (consider how Annabelle is written and handled). Eulalie and Morella have a benevolent spectre but they are always reduced ngl in the characterisation part. Eulalie can be more than Pluto's love interest yk. And Morella is more than just "goody two shoes" or "innocent".
No hate to the characters but it does becomes weird when, narratively, that's what's chosen multiple times(ik comments will be like "oh but that's how they're character is like" I understand that. But that doesn't qualifies as pass for some readers to not judge on how they are framed in the course of the story at times. Characterisation and plot are two different things which work together).
Even the characters like Prospero who's Italian is complying to Annabelle to what she decides or thinks which is something he did in the past life too when he was a doctor. And Annabelle constantly gets weirdly shoved into things where truly she shouldn't be the topic of concern. And I understand the creators don't prefer criticism like this but when you do write stories- characterisation, narrative pacing, plot, specific elements , intentional symbolism and intentional turning points in the individual characters are ought to be noticed by readers.
Thank you if you have read this far <3^^ have a great day/evening/night y'all!! ^^
EDIT: DUKE HAS A NEUTRAL SPECTRE AND EULALIE HAS A BENEVOLENT SPECTRE. I changed a few things!! And added too! That's highlighted in orange!
i have a lot of thoughts on source separation because its genuinley a nice and good and beautiful thing in my opinion, but the way it gets talked about in the community really. it frusturates me. its thrown around as an end-all be-all must-do solution to every introject-related problem ever. as much as it has meant to some of us, its been genuinley damaging to those of us who had it forced on them or tried to force themselves to do it when they didnt want to or werent ready.
to me, its a process. a highly complicated and personal process. and, something to persue of your own accord, when you can and if you want to and think it will help you.
its not going to fix all of your introject-related problems, tbh. in my experience it sometimes makes them even worse 👍 so. source connection isnt like, the root of all introject-related problems, so its inverse will not save you from them.
i see this especially in the (god i didnt wanna bring this up again) conversation around introjects struggling to handle fandom. being source connected doesnt garuntee youll have that problem in the first place, being siurce separated doednt garuntee that you wont, idk, harass people. which is what a lot of people seem to think. idk insert post conclusion here
