So. We have guests coming over today, and we had to clean. Yeah, like you always do before somebody comes over.

WELL thing is, i have siblings (two younger ones) and still I have to do 60% of the work that's given to us kids. Yeah. And let me remind you i have slight sensory issues, and I'm put to do the most sensory nightmare stuff, because my sibling just cannot do it.

I'm always the one who does most of the housework. Hell, even my nickname has become Cinderella, because i do most of the house work. (Ofc my parents do, but from the kids in our house.)

Yes im pissed off, no i still love my family. It's just annoying how unfair it is most of the time.

wanna know one of the biggest cliches in fiction? "the oldest is cruel and the youngest is an angel." fun fact, in real life this isn't true. the youngest children are spoiled rotten. "oh, but in the end, they are alone!" most of the oldest children want to be alone. we just want peace and privacy. and you're saying it's a bad thing when the youngest gets it... dude. all we eldest children have known is noise. we just want peace. here, I rest my case. the youngest is the devil. the oldest is an angel.

Me, the oldest child: Hey mom I'm having a guy friend over we'll be in my room listening to music and sharing memes

My mom: ok but YOUR DOOR STAYS OPEN and I'M CHECKING ON YOU EVERY 30 MINUTES

My little sister: Hey mom this is my boyfriend we're going in my room for 6 hours straight and we'll be totally silent the entire time so you have no clue what we're doing :)

My mom: ok honey let me know if you want anything from the store I have to go make sure to check on your big sister for me <3

I taught myself how to cook, braid my hair, do my makeup, use period products, clean, basic hygiene, everything. So believe me when I tell you that I don’t need you.

These grown adults and the 16 year old are more excited for this damn movie (and having me buy them every snack under the sun) than my actual children 🤦🏾‍♀️
