the female was stressed. two weeks ago she had been laying in a hospital bed having a baby she wasn’t entirely sure she wanted. the girl was cute, that was undeniably. what with the impeccable genes that navid and poppy-mae have supplied, she was going to be perfect. but that’s something her mom would have said. the fact that as she leans over her daughter’s crib and can only think about how happy the baby is going to be able to make some boy ( or girl, she doesn’t judge ), causes her body to walk straight towards the vodka. she knows she shouldn’t, knows that she needs to be able to take care of the baby and feed her. how could she feed her baby if there was alcohol in her system? she can’t remember when she last pumped. but that doesn’t stop the bottle from going to her lips and a series of shots to be taken straight from the bottle. then daisy starts crying, her two week old lungs making a lot of noise. she’s lonely, the poor girl is lonely. the mother had just changed her and fed her before she had had anything to drink, so she doesn’t worry too much. but then she hears the front door open and she’s quickly hiding the bottle, turning to walk into the bathroom and shut the door behind her, hoping to have time for an excuse.
