I just saw a comment on an insta post that said that Eren was forced to do the rumbling and he wouldn't kill anyone if he had the choice. Like, gurl, I'm a big fan of being delulu but be for real. Also can we not take agency away from a character just cause we don't like what they did so now we have to justify it.

and by we I mean you. As far as I'm concerned the only problem with the rumbling is that he stopped. oh and also that he also killed all the animals and trees. Like wtf did the trees do to you, Eren? I'm not even sure how anyone survived for long afterwards since he fucked the ecosystem so bad. But the humans, yea fuck the humans; those things are gross.

She stopped caring an eternity ago. She burned the entire continent down, more than once, after your every death. It was amazing how gullible the humans were, sly words whispering to right ears, and everything ends. Just like that.

When the land was still razed with fire and wars decades later, she walked briskly through a dead-silent village. None would squeak in the presence of apex predators. She didn’t care though, she hadn’t in centuries—maybe a millennia or two, she lost count.

Even if she got lynched right then and there, it wouldn’t change a damn thing. Inferno couldn’t even consume her skin nor would spears breaking through her organs. She was impenetrable. Unkillable. Death, without fail, would refuse to invite her to its embraces—each and every time. 

Many called her many things, ranging from witch to the devil himself. She always laugh at each one. She never had any idea what she really was, she simply…existed, among these mortal weaklings and shared same needs as the rest of them. Need to eat, rest, and most of all, to be loved.

To be loved…Tugging on her finest coat, the most expensive and well fitted on her frame, the wretched one smiled.

There was a rare tug on her withered soul.

It had been twenty, maybe thirty years since she lost you.

She will always find you. No matter your wishes, you will return to her arms and love her as she does you. Maybe one day, she will find a way to either make you immortal as she is—or to finally join you in death. Until then, She is Inevitable. 

You can never escape your soul mate.

This is what we’re seeing all around the world now: a slow motion third world war being waged by the US power alliance against the remaining nations which have resisted being absorbed into it. As the most powerful of the unabsorbed nations by far, China is the ultimate target of this war. If the empire succeeds in its ultimate goal of stopping China, it will have attained a de facto planetary government which no population will be able to oppose or dissent from. I never consented to a world where powerful nuclear-armed forces wave Armageddon weapons at each other while fighting for planetary domination and subverting less powerful nations if they don’t play along with their Cold War games. Detente and peace must be sought and obtained, and we must all work to live together on this planet in collaboration with each other and with our ecosystem. This omnicidal, ecocidal way of living that the oligarchic empire has laid out for us does not suit our species, and it will drive us to extinction along with God knows how many other species if we do not find a way to end it. Rulers historically do not cede their power willingly, so we ordinary human beings as a collective are going to have to find a way to destroy their propaganda engine, force an end to imperialism, and build a healthy world.
