perks of working at a big company includes budgets allocated for upskilling
the past two days have been spent holed up in a basically windowless room in the far east of the country
it is labelled as advanced, but honestly speaking, was everything i needed to learn to bridge the massive and growing software proficiency i have
with the instructor droning on and dozing off while we did our assignments, the past two days have been fruitfully spent absorbing this new knowledge and skill (in all earnesty)
but it also provided a bubble of time and stress away from the office and the realities a running timeline of the project
in that musty room spent with five of my other colleagues, walking out to the only nearby canteen where they sell decent but affordable teh-o-peng, forming a strange fond memory of work life
