Me after my wife gave me Pill That Makes You Constipated: why am I so constipated?
Gacha method of memorization is working wonders btw
I had drug names running through my brain all night
literally which other website would understand my torrid love affair with ibuprofen and ondansetron
The other day I asked one of the staff at my GP’s office if they could ask her about calling in double my dose of antihistamine next time. A wire apparently got crossed somewhere, and I have instead ended up with a double dose of my antacid + nine bottles of a nausea treatment called ondansetron.
My guts are fucked and I have been assailed with ondansetron/Zofran, which appears to be used primarily for vomiting and not the specific guts problem I’m actually having. Walgreens nonetheless gave me a three-month supply of it, possibly to keep me from coming back in there.
Genuine question:
Why is ondansetron, an anti-nausea medication, that dissolves under the tongue, the most vile tasting thing? Like it’s genuinely so vile tasting and feels counterproductive???? It’s so irritating? Like I take it so I will hopefully stop feeling like I’ll vomit if I move a single inch. But it’s genuinely so awful tasting it makes it worse for the first few minutes until I can get the taste out of my mouth. Like wtf. 😭
