Felibberto Scarpa, The Cat Who Went to the Ophthalmologist (1953)
I have just come into possession of the codes to detonate the chip inside of every dog
dont do it
hydrocephalus
We have an obese dachshund in today and a coworker knowingly just called him a "girthy weiner"
ancient greek vet trying to neuter a hydra but alas...
i think that's called testicular cancer
And yes, of course, while the werewolf is sedated we can trim their nails.
Vet: okay, I don't see any fractures but this toes are very swollen
Me: maybe he stepped in a bee
Punny coworker: I think he stepped in an A. It's pointier.
Vet: well, I guess we will *see*
Punny coworker: hopefully we find what *de* problem is
Vet: we can always send the rads *ee*-lectronically
Punny coworker:.... eff you *laughing*
Vet: well, gee, that was rude!
crypto bros but they’re just trading cryptosporidium

Me : your pet’s blood result comes quite concerning. I recommend going to a facility with more equipment than us, i could write a referral now.
O: do we have to bring him with us?
People be like "I wish dragons were real, I'd love to have a pet dragon, I wanna be a dragon rider" but then call horses demonic and chaotic and evil, like, mate, if you can't handle a horse you prolly couldn't handle a dragon. A dragon is just a scaly carnivorous horse.
implying horses aren't carnivorous
Absurdist question: I have never pet a hairless cat and am curious as to how they feel to touch. Are they soft or smooth? Do they have "peach fuzz"?
[ I have no interest in getting a hairless feline; I already have two kitties and they are perfect]
Thanks for indulging my derpy curiosity!
The ones I've touched were smooth, smoother than most humans but if you use any pressure the skin tends to 'stick' to your fingers a little because it's so stretchy and so that makes for a really strange texture experience. It just... goes with you and you're mentally like "Is it going to stop? Is it going to just come off the cat and stay stuck to my fingers?"
I do know the amount of hair varies per cat and per mutation/breed though so some are more peach-fuzzy
Petting a younger hairless cat is like petting an unerect penis and I will stand by that statement.
These cats are, rather frequently, referred to as 'scrotums' in vet med for this reason
