do you ever compare fetus Louis to current Louis and be like “wow he definitely smiled a lot more back then” or “wow he barely had any tattoos” or “wait he didn’t smoke back then?” ? well I was and I was just thinking that maybe Louis gets tattoos for the pain to distract him from reality. Not just larry being closeted, his lifestyle. The tattoos could also be his only way of expressing himself, we don’t know. It’s just that with his recent posts all I can think about is how it seems he misses being free. Free of huge consequences, free of drama, free of restrictions.

People smoke to “escape reality” or “to be on a more spiritual level”, is that why zayn and Louis smoke. And possibly why Liam started smoking in the past years ? They need a outlet from all this bs, right?

They all used to be so happy and independent, now they’re all tied down not just by the management but by the attention of the world. Maybe that’s why they don’t smile as often; they don’t see a reason to smile. Maybe that’s what zayn meant by not feeling as if he was cut out for 1D. They have so many young fans that they’re held accountable for simply because the children idolize them. We hold them to standards so unrealistically high they’re constantly pressured. That may be why people like Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber have said that they’re not responsible for their fans, they’re are not their parents.

That could also be why Niall loves traveling and avoids drama during interviews. He’s sick and tired of it. That’s why they’re on break, they need a break from all this drama.

I don’t even remember why I started writing this, all I know is that we need to stop pressuring them to do things. I understand that someone y'all want Louis to follow Harry or for your ship to come out or even for the baby gate to end, but it’s not our choice. We are in no way qualified to tell them how to live their lives or ridicule then for doing so their own way. Basically what I’m trying to say I can’t really be put into words, since I keep going in circles. But can we please all just calm down, everything will play out the way it’s supposed whether it’s in our favor or not.

Rant mode is officially on.

Okay, fine. This isn’t really a rant, it’s just something that’s been bugging me for a while.

I’m not dissing the group, One Direction, in any shape or form. I like their music and the guys in it are quite hot so if this offends some Directioners out there, I’m sorry.

One of the main reasons that has always stopped me from being a major fan of theirs, is the way that you can’t hear their development through their music. All their songs are roughly the same. When I talk about development, I mean their character development. Over the years of an artist, you see the evolution of their work. From looking at the boys, you can see that they have changed. Their physical appearance, their outlook on life, their interests etc. However, their music doesn’t portray it.

I’m not comparing them with Justin Bieber but at least with him, you can see how he has changed as a person by listening to the songs he became famous with to the songs he’s maintaining his fame with. For example, from the song One Less Lonely Girl (2009) to Boyfriend (2012) to now, I’m Sorry (2015). You can hear the progression and how he, you can say, matured over time.

Even with Nicki Minaj, you see her personality mature through her costume, hair and makeup. From her being eccentric and out-worldly to a more sophisticated, yet still fucking gorgeous, style. Her music even shows this too.

If I were to take a random song from One Direction’s album, Up All Night and place it in their recently released album, Made in the A.M., would we notice it being out of place? Personally, no I don’t think I will if I knew the songs.

And I’m not trying to throw shade and talk shit about their music, no.  I actually quite like their new album and they’re not even the only artists who follow this trend. They’re just the ones most popular right now that comes to mind.

rant time....

I follow a few one direction/Harry Styles update accounts on Twitter and one of them posted a video of Harry being in New York. But he was in a car and he was spotted by some fans. I watched the video and I'm sorry but it made me cringe and really upset. One of the main reasons it made me upset is because not only were the girls standing in the street with their phones pressed against the windows, but some were crying and screaming. Keep in mind it wasn't a lot, but I mean still 3 or 4 or 5 is still a lot when you're in a car and someone is up against your window. One of the girls even said "why do you hate us?" Because he wasn't rolling down his window or wouldn't come out and say hi and another said "please we will do anything." And they were knocking on the window with literally their phones pressed against the window. I get it if you see the boys you get excited and want to see if you can actually get a "decent" photo. But this is where I feel like someone could get seriously hurt or cause a problem. Harry is a human being, Niall is a human being, Liam is a human being, and Louis is wow a human being. Yes they live under the spotlight because it's their JOB, but keep in mind also we don't know what goes on outside of what we do see. Harry or any of the other guys could have anxiety or could start having anxiety with us doing that. I mean imagine if you were dating one of the boys and you were in the car with them and 5 people on either side of the back window were pressed against it with their phones screaming and crying and knocking on the window. I can guarantee no one would like that so I can only imagine Harry felt scared or let alone I'm sure the security felt scared too. You wonder why you can't always see the boys or they can't stop and talk it's because of SAFETY and I don't think anyone would try and hurt the boys but you never know someone could or let alone one of us a fan could get hurt. It just bothers me when I see people do that because no one deserves that and they are normal guys who yes don't have the average normal guy in their 20's life but please respect their privacy, respect their safety and remember we don't know what goes on behind closed doors. That's all thank you.

A nice rant for a change:

I am so unbelievably happy that Niall and Louis stopped the rumours in their tracks. No bullshit from HQ or any magazines or stupid fan twitter feeds. Straight from the source. 

Like Niall said they are in need of a well deserved break. They have done so many incredible things for us and us for them. They have had little breaks in between but mainly because they just had to wait for another world tour to start up. They are in dyer need.

Even after Zayn leaving they had no real chance to sit and process, they had to continue touring and continue on with shows and they showed great strength in a time that I’m sure was a little sad for them, understandably. They deserve the chance to go home and bask in the glory that is their chart topping, award winning, world touring band. 

They are all such incredible boys, as we already know, and they work so hard to please us and show their appreciation. This break should be the time that we them how much we appreciate them, by continuing to listen to their music, look back on some of their most incredible moments, laugh at Harry’s constant battle against gravity, gush and swoon over Louis incredible smile, get caught up in the sound of Nialls laughter and hope that at some point Liam will unbutton his shirt on stage again. 

Im so excited to hear what they have for us on the next album, and to sit at home on my computer with all you lovely people and watch the rest of the tour from the luxury of our beds. (even though we would rather be front row at each show) 

I hope you are all as thankful as I am for them finally coming out and giving us the answers we were desperate looking for, and for believing that One Direction is far from over.

RANT

I need to get this off of my chest.

Zayn left One Direction, he left in the middle of the tour. Am I saying that it was professional? No. Am I saying that it’s fair to all the people who was excited to see him in upcoming shows? Now.

He left because he wasn’t satisfied where he was. Whether it was due to wanting to go solo or him just being unhappy, he left because that wasn’t what he wanted to be doing, and that is fair. It wasn’t fair he lied to us, but there was obviously some reason he did, excusable or not.

I’m not gonna get into the whole cut for Zayn thing, because some people may be devastated over it, there are people in this world actually suffering from this thing, and it’s selfish to try and force someone into doing something that doesn’t make them happy. 

Finally, the Naughty Boy hate is kind of outrageous. It’s fucked up he’s provoking you guys, but some of you are just as fucked up. Y’all calling him all types of burritos and shit, but as soon as he says something back, y’all playing the victim card. 

I love Zayn, and I will support him in whatever he does. It truly breaks my heart how some of you guys feel as though you have to divide in two because he went in a different direction (no pun intended), but I do understand why a lot of you are pissed, sad, angry, disappointed, etc.

Spitting 1D truth that no one wants to say.

Let's get real, cut to the chase. 5 years is a long time for a boy band to be at the top of the market. OTRA is a fucking failure. Modest! can't get their shit together. Arenas? Why? Stadiums are fine. The boys are miserable. The last real single was "You and I", don't lie to yourself. I mean. Who is going to be the one to say it??? They are burned out. They need a break. A long break. It needs to not be about the money anymore. I mean, you can only swim so much until you're waterlogged. How selfish can you get? Really... Your fans are broke. We are all college student age now so we can't afford anything. I bet you half of us torrented the last album. So, they need a break, and when they come back, they'll have a smaller, more dedicated audience, perhaps a chance of a comeback. Fuck that writing songs on the road, recording on hotels nonsense. That's pushing them too hard. They aren't robots. They're fucking people. I've had enough.

It makes me really sad to think that the One Direction fandom is fading, but I'm also really happy for them because maybe they get a little extra privacy these days. When you think about it, it makes me upset to think that their fame is dying, but maybe now people can enjoy them that much more that they don't have to fight their way through a crowd to see them.

RANT: Looking for 1D

So, I live in New York City and find out that Harry fucking Styles is here, with all the rest of the boys arriving later in the week. Obviously, I go on a search party for the curly haired princess since I never met him before. Alas, after 3 days of being out in the freezing cold for over 10 hours, losing sleep, and barely having time to eat, I didn’t find them at all. I was close to finding Harry my first day, but he ran away. Then I find out that there are people, 18-13 years old who keep constantly meeting One Direction and the boys remember them. Like you know, stalker like.There is even one annoying shit who met him NINE FUCKING TIMES and still keeps on meeting him. He even tweets wrong info so that people don’t get to Harry or other boys. Selfish fucker. BECAUSE NINE TIMES IS NOT ENOUGH COMPARED TO NO TIMES! His friend even had the audacity to come up to Harry’s driver, with a cig in hand, and push girls out of the way to find out more information on where Harry will be. Dickface. A grown guy, seriously?! I was watching it with wide eyes, it’s so fucking dumb. I can tell why the boys don’t want to be seen in New York; this city is fucking nuts! Little, 14 year old hormonal girls run after the cars that won’t even stop for them and press their faces into the cars, scaring the poor boys with screaming (check out the video of Niall’s car being mobbed with some kid having his face pressed into the tinted window). I was unfortunate enough because of the 14 year olds who stuck to me and one was giving attitude. No one asked you to be here. So her best friend told her I’ll put her in her place (despite me being 20, I’m still shorter and I did say that because I can’t tolerate bad attitude) and she almost picked a fight with me. Overpriveledged bitch. Like I give a fuck. Learn how to put on a lipstick right then we’ll talk; you already look 25 to my 20.

I’m just ranting, considering this week disappointed me and showed me how truly crazy fandoms can be. I admire the fandom, but sometimes calm the fuck down. Some aren’t even fans who want to meet them, just those who chase celebrities. I met a handful of celebrities, but I didn’t chase them to take pictures several times. Learn that there are limits and boundaries, Jesus fucking Christ.

If I lose followers, so be it. But I’m just sad that people act this way. Boys are never happy when they’re in New York, they run the opposite way, while in London they are more than happy to smile and take a pic with several fans. We need to tone it down so the boys feel comfortable with us.
