That one scene in season 4 but with oberon! Its just a sketch so its subject to change! At the beginning of season 4 Oberon uses their EP to hide their horn, giving themselves cat ears to make themselves less threatening. (After this, they never could of guessed that Skylor and Oberon would become such good friends!- I feel really bad that I've made skylor so mean :[ )

how do you make your animatics :O? !

EXCELLENT QUESTION !! It changes constantly ! For Nightmare and Every Breath You Take, I used Procreate to draw the frames and Procreate Dreams to edit them ! For EBYT I used Audacity to trim the second verse and add the stream snippets :)

For Done For, I drew the frames on CSP on my ipad, uploaded them to my computer, and put them together in DaVinci Resolve. For the current wip, Psychosis, I’m doing something smarter and using CSP on my PC so I can skip a step and download/upload much easier.

The actual workflow ALSO changes depending on each one !! This is how each of them looked:

Nightmare: Draw the frames roughly one by one, upload into program finished in 8 hours

Every Breath You Take: Draw the polished frames one by one. Get tired. Draw the roughs in one swoop. Upload into program Finished in roughly 3 weeks.

Done For (still in wip purgatory): Draw each layer refined, upload into program with blocking. Still not done, what I uploaded I finished in about 3 days.

Psychosis: Full pass of roughs to plan composition, framing, blocking. Work back through section by section. Been working on it for a week so far and I’m almost half-way done :)

I do not recommend rawdogging your animatics because by the end of EBYT i was exhausted but i was also submitting it for uni work so that might be why 💀 take your time have fun and remember it doesnt have to be perfect and polished especially while you’re learning the basics !!

I just noticed the last time I was in Thyphlo Ruins that there is a single frame in which you can see the naked blade of the powered up Master Sword. This happens when you switch from any other weapon to the Master Sword. It shows up very easily in the dark!
