Hysterical - Jegulus

James looks up from his transfiguration homework when the door opens and Regulus walks in. James starts to smile, but he stops when he looks at the pained expression on Regulus’ face.

James scrambles to his feet, and walks over to him, extending his arms. Regulus collapses against him, burying his face in James’ jumper. James wraps his arms protectively around Regulus, his heart clenching.

“Holidays that bad, huh?” James asks weakly.

“James.” Regulus whines. He pulls away from James  to look up at him, face crumbling.

“What is it sweetheart? What happened?” James cups regulus, face in his hands.

“They made me get the mark Jamie.” Regulus whispers.

James starts laughing, he feels hysterical. Like if he doesn’t laugh he’ll cry until he drowns them both in his tears. Regulus looks confused and a little bit betrayed, which makes James sober up immediately.

“Sorry.” James mumbles. “We’ll get through it together, love. It’ll be alright.”

James has never been a liar before.

But that was the best lie he’d ever told.

Her weapon of choice is a Zen Staff so she can bonk the zen into people. She is the more level-headed of the group and a pacifist who prefers simple self defense instead of using her training to cause conflict. She tries to avoid conflict as much as she possibly can, but she can stand on her own if she needs to
