Book 1 got me really anxious, book 2 got me emotional but you see this book 3 nothing prepared me for it. Rachel’s hope will mess with your feelings but it’s worth it. This story of Rachel is a reminder that God is love and He knows the best. It is also a reminder that marriage is not a death sentence. Rachel persevered and against all hope she trusted her Heavenly Father. Oh, I love Ihotu. We all need friends like that. Friends who are not afraid to speak the truth but at the same time kind enough to help us navigate through the pain. Oh, Rachel’s dad is super amazing, I felt like slapping him a few times though 💁 but he is a super supportive dad. One thing I learnt from this book is that God will never leave you alone. He will send the right help and comfort you need in times of need. This book had the perfect ending. There is hope for a tree, if it be cut down it will sprout again. That is the story of Rachel! What a beautiful ending👏👏👏👏 As for Doug, bro let me just shut up because I don’t want to drop spoilers. Ps: It was so hard to write this review without adding spoilers. @ufuomaee will be releasing this book on the 2nd of August please read it. Singles and married this book is for you. So many lessons. I’ve followed Rachel’s journey and I’ve fallen in love with her. I’ve been on @ufuomaee neck to release the part 2 and even after she released it, my emotions will not allow me read. The story of Rachel is the reality of lots of women. They are enduring what they should not be enduring. They know so much yet can’t apply it because they are scared. The presence of God has been a source of refuge and hope for a lot of them. I was angry @ufuomaee because I felt Rachel deserves better and I’m still angry o but we can’t deny the fact that these things happen. Through it all, I can still see the hands of God in Rachel’s story and that gives me hope @ufuomaee thank you for picking topics churches and the society shy away from, thank you for being so real with your stories. I just didn't see it coming, the house girl is a book that is so thrilling, the plot was so beautiful, you don't even know what to expect. At a point I was asking myself who is the main character again, you beautiful crafted the story and each character had it's own uniqueness. I love the fact that you dealt with forgiveness, you talked about the church which a lot of writers are shying away from, you taught grace in a simple but deep teaching. You are sure using your writing to expand the gospel! I love that about you. I didn't see the end coming at all, I was shocked at Chinyere's confession because I was already thinking now Osinachi has a child to call her own even if it's partially but you gave us a real twist there .
