a/n: it’s my birthday! i’ve typed up some hcs about the Hearts for my own reference to celebrate <3 spoilers for ch1063 in shachi’s section! and as a reminder you’re free to agree or disagree with these hcs, these are just how i personally write them and my opinions are for fun ┐(´∀｀)┌

Law

he/they genderfuck (agender)

exclusively into men and masc aligned people

sort of?? on the grayro spectrum??? they need to really know someone before feelings can even bud but aren’t opposed to bedding a stranger on very rare occasions

when they do catch feelings its usually "out of left field" because Law has a hard time making sense of or recognizing them, and typically, the feelings have been there for longer than he's realized or cares to admit

Penguin

he/him (trans man)

bi with a preference for guys, anyone who can take him out for a good time and let him get whitegirl-wasted is fair game though

meeting their captain as young as they all were was a lifesaver; it took a while for Penguin to be able to open up about it, but eventually with Shachi’s encouragement he came forward with the fact of his gender troubles to Law on Swallow Island and the boys started sorting things out for his transition post-haste since they were in the thick of puberty

Shachi

bi bi bi - thee most bisexual bitch on the heart pirates’ block

Shachi’s confident and flirty with any/everyone who catches his attention, mainly in jest or just to tease but if the target of his affections reciprocates, who is he to deny such an opportunity

gender-wise, it’s complicated - things were very black and white for a long time and he was comfortable that way; until they were genderbent, that is, and now the lines are just that much blurrier

Bepo

he/him (cis?? adjacent??? but doesn't really care much about gender either way, he's happy how he is though)

pan and has SO much love to give!!!

falls fast and hard and has a lot of queerplatonic crushes that fade just as quickly as they come

he's glad that so many folks like cuddling up to a big soft bear like him and Bepo's more than happy to share the love!

Ikkaku

she/her (trans woman)

lover of women and all things sapphic, Ikkaku can, will, and IS planning on flirting with AND stealing all of y’alls wives

she transitioned a couple of years before being invited to join the Heart Pirates, bemused to find that Law’s ‘crew’ so far was just the captain and his childhood friends

Ikkaku adopted them all immediately as her dweeby younger siblings, taking particular note of the captain’s potential egg status and making sure to shower the cracked one (Pen) in support and affection as much as was comfortable for him

Uni

tall, dark, and handsome but not too keen on putting themself front and center in the dating pool

Uni’s single but not quite ready to mingle just yet, he’s far more comfortable cozying up in a nice quiet corner of the sub after a few social drinks while the party rages on

they just like to have their own space, and their peers are more than accommodating of this fact, but sometimes-- maybe, just maybe - he’d like to have someone accompany him in that close personal bubble - if only he didn’t get so in his own head around a certain sea angel...
