A soft raspy chuckle came from the darkness, "What's a tasty little thing like you doing out here so late?" David snickered. The Vampire took a small step out from under the shadow of the boardwalk, flashing the stranger a dangerous grin. "The boardwalk isn't exactly the safest place after dark." he said in a teasing tone. The creature could hardly help himself, he loved to toy with his prey.
*knock knock knock*
“Good evening! I have a package here for… ‘the resident at this address’… apparently… The uh… the sender didn’t specify who exactly to give it to, but I guess that’s none of my business. Can you sign here for me, please?”

AS SOON AS THE OTHER WOMAN HAD turned up on Gráinne’s doorstep with tears in her eyes, Gráinne had wrapped her in her arms and forced her down onto the couch with a hot drink. Erin, her daughter, was already asleep in bed so she was free for the rest of the evening with no other ties, other than the odd business call - she was never free of them. “Why don’t we just chill for the night?” the Irish woman suggested. “We can get in our PJs, well, you can borrow mine as usual, and we can just watch some lame, romantic comedy.” A smile swung in the other woman’s direction as Gráinne searched the room for her comfiest blanket. “I’ll even let you choose the film, which is highly generous of me considering your damn-awful taste,” she joked.
Gogo, without knowing any other way to start her day, decided that going for a run wasn’t going to satisfy her need to exercise. In her black sweatshirt and joggers, she finally decided to take her headphones out of her ears and stop to breathe. One went into her pocket perfectly, and the other slipped from her fingers and onto the sidewalk. She cursed and went to pick up the tiny white earbud, but someone else’s hand was already there. Gogo picked her head up and took a step back from the person still breathing hard from the run.
“Oh, thank you.” Leiko pulled her sweatshirt closer to her neck.
