sometimes I feel like a human in an ant farm because of my missing emotionality.
I don't empathise with you. I don't get angry like you. I don't fit in here with you.
All I do is watch as you get mad over a societally accepted moral stance on a topic I don't feel anything towards.
And most of the time I just sit there and theorise why this is the conclusion the general population will draw at any point. Most of the time the reasons are because their friends were also mad and they're biased, sometimes it's just because they empathised first and thought later. I compare one situation to another and it turns out the logic never really aligns. and I continue to feel out of place because I'll never understand.
I don't know whether it's because of my NPD, Autism, something else or all three, but I won't ever feel like you do. And sometimes that's a blessing, because I can judge a situation for exclusively what it is, but most of the time I don't fit in with my peers. And I can't be compassionate when they're upset.
Is it just me?
