VANC/TY | Vancouver, a place where toques are acceptable at all times of the year. Especially, organic ones 👌 ⠀ The rad thing about our toques is they are fully natural. This was not an easy task. We couldn’t find any pre-made fully natural ones so we set out to make our own. We spent a several months sourcing to ensure the toque was fully natural. The yarn is organic cotton, the thread is Tencel, the label is cotton and the care and content label is paper. It can’t get any more sustainable than that. ⠀ ⠀ The only thing we had to bend on was dyes because we wanted to have a few colour ways and still wanted the toque to be affordable. If we had used natural dyes it would have added about $20 to the retail price. Although it’s much more expensive to dye in North America, we decided to have them dyed with reactive dyes in the USA where the regulations on water filtration are much more stringent than overseas. This is the best we could do at this time but we hope to have a fully natural or waterless dye for the toques in the future.⠀ ⠀ Our toques turned out amazingly. They are super soft and surprisingly breathable. They’re more ideal for everyday style use and in dryer weather. ⠀ ⠀ If you’re interested in wholesaling these toques from me, shoot me an email @ [email protected] 🙌⠀ 📷 @devanfrancis ⠀ #toque #beanie #organictoque #organicbeanie #organichat #madeinnorthamerica #ethical #ethicalfashion #sustainablefashion #consciousfashion #wearthechange #bethechange #organichats #fashionrev #fashionrevcanada #sustainableclothing #novelwears #novelhats #naturalfibre #organiccotton #organic #sustainablelifestyle #zerowaste #consciousconsumer (at West End, Vancouver) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1SOl1-hEPs/?igshid=1letymhgadcd5
