ARO / ACE SPECTRUM and their opposites

grey-︰people who experience attraction only rarely, weakly, under limited circumstances, or in another way that significantly differs from allo(ro)s. umbrella term for any aro/ace-spec identity that isn't purely aro/ace or allo.

lith-︰may experience attraction but does not want it reciprocated. may be uncomfortable at the thought of someone being attracted to them, or they may lose their feelings if they learn it's reciprocated.

recipro-︰someone who does not experience attraction unless they know that the other individual is attracted to them first.

fray-︰someone only experiences attraction towards those that they are not deeply connected with, and lose that attraction as they get to know the individuals.

demi-︰someone who does not experience attraction until they have formed a close or deep emotional connection or bond with someone.

bellus-︰enjoying traditionally relationship-oriented activities while not desiring a relationship and not feeling attraction.

inact-︰which someone experiences attraction and desires a relationship despite not wanting or being repulsed by or averse towards sexual/romantic actions.

Poem - Attraction Turned

Attraction Turned

Attraction turned on its head desire directing the body led reversed around to the absurd predilections are observed if the normative were in play there would be a word for this state with judgment following afterward tutting loudly to be heard

there were wants in the past aligned with genders assigned at birth giving comfort to the whole that orientation was regular except it’s not after all the line was crossed long ago spectrum slipped outside of bounds while preferring the feminine

now the sex has been reversed no longer cis as consequence and yet the traits that appealed have not changed throughout the years sapphic is now the urge the tendency of rapt allure for the forms still adored all the curves that Sappho loved.

FLUCTUATING ARO / ACE / ALLO

aflux︰an individual who fluctuates across all of the a-spectrum. may also include fluctuating from allo. attractions may or may not fluctuate independently of each other.

aro/aceflux︰someone whose attraction fluctuates. may fluctuate between experiencing aro/ace, gray, and allo. similar to abro but the genders don't change, only the intensity and how they feel them changes!

alloflux︰when one usually feels allo- attraction, but fluctuates along the corresponding attraction spectrum at times.

aro/aceflexible︰to those who are mostly aro/ace and occasionally experience attraction; however, the attraction they experience is so little and/or rare that they consider themselves aro/ace with fluidity.

alloflexible︰someone who generally experiences sexual attraction and identifies as allosexual but is flexible in this identity, and occasionally experiences asexuality.

aroflex︰experiencing a less intense, consistent form of attraction that is somewhere between romantic and queerplatonic attraction while one’s feelings towards romance/romantic gestures fluctuates.

aro/acespike︰someone who usually feels no attraction, but occasionally has rare and sudden spikes of attraction for an amount of time that can vary from a day to a couple of months before returning to one's normal amounts of aromanticism/asexuality.

aro/ace-jump︰where one is normally allo, but one occasionally experiences rare, sudden, and intense spikes of total or near total aromanticism/asexuality for a short amount of time, before returning just as suddenly to one's normal amounts of alloromanticism/allosexuality.
