Issues with the EA app

Idk if anyone else is having an absolutely stressing and frustrating time with the the new Origin reeplacement process in favour of the EA app.

My game (TS3) was already a bit laggy and I though it was due to the cc and mods I have installed. Today, the Origin app basically obliged me to downloaf the EA app as a reeplacement, since Origin is not available for Windows anymore, and so I did.

It works awfully, in fact, it doesn't even work. The app will open a large, empty square with nothing on it, or simply it will open a non-existing window, like this:

This is beyond upsetting for me, TS3 is the only game I play and I invested a lot of time on a single family, 5 generations to be exact, and I had made some personal use cc.

Origin was trashy but it did the job, I'm done with EA releasing half done content and calling it a day, I just want to play the damn game in peace. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I’m really tired of having to uninstall/reinstall Origin every time I need update or fix my game.

Sims is going to be on hold for a little while, Sorry peeps.

Probs won’t be posting for a while. I don’t know what’s going on but I’m having a bit of Origin trouble. Tried updating Sims only to get a download fail. Tried repairing the game, download fail. After getting multiple of those I’m not sure why but my dumbass thought oh I can uninstall and reinstall, that’ll fix it. It did not. So continued download fails while trying to reinstall the game. Logged out and back into Origin only for it to try and repair sims upon entry but that of course got another download fail. I uninstalled and reinstalled Origin but that also did not fix shit. this started yesterday, 7-15-22, and I’m just going to try again later where I’ll most likely get a download fail message again.  Origin is being ran as an admin as the interwebs suggests and I’m pretty sure my laptop is unprotected so I don’t think a firewall is interferring with anything.

The fact that when origin decides it needs yet another update and the game you are in the middle of loading just stops, not freezes or crashes, stops. It won’t close or do anything so you have to restart your computer to make it close and then find out it was because origin wanted to update.

So I got really excited when the mac version of Sims 4 finally became available to play. It’s been a long wait! I almost lost interest entirely. Anyway, I tried to purchase the game last night through the launcher, but it kept crashing when it would send me to the paypal page. No matter what I did, it.kept.crashing. I even reinstalled the origin app and everything and it was still causing me problems. So I checked on the order history in my account page to see what’s up and it shows that I ordered the game three times! Oh my god. I knew this would happen. I even called them and made sure they cancelled the orders, because they didn’t even go through in the first place! Why would they show up on the history? It’s been a frustrating ordeal. They haven’t completely cancelled the orders so now I can’t even buy the game properly until this whole mess clears up. Not to mention that today is the last day to buy the game at 30%!! Ugh. I’m done with this.

Fuck You Origin.

So my computer crashed today somewhat, Did a refresh so it kept all of my files but removed all of my programs T_T 

So after re-downloading origin ALL and literally ALL of my games are gone! How the fuck is this supposed to be continent and keep all of my games in one place, if im constantly having to RE ADD THEM TO ORIGIN IF I EVER NEED TO REMOVE IT. LIKE WHAT THE FUCK !?!?

Going to call Origin customer Service tomorrow, its already to late here T_T

I just wanted to come home from a long day of cooking for stupid couples and play some goddamn sims. 

Fuck you Origin.

Origin Not Working??

I know this isn't animal crossing, but I really want to get on my origin and play some games but it wont open?? It worked great before the latest update but after it updated it no longer opens? Like it has the little loading ball but it goes away after a few seconds and never pops up??
