:Orlagk was born during the big human and troll war. He and what was the gumm-gumms at the time were some of the few trolls that live in the darklands even after the surface world was available to troll kind. Orlagk spent a lot of his childhood in the darklands.
: Since he grew up in hard times and his parents didn't have the supplies to make him a snuggle animal, so he made one out of an old hair brush. It's name was Nibbles.
:The chief at the time refused to go to the surface because he believed that they didn't belong up there and it was saver to stay where they were then face the humans and the sun. After decades of hell most of tribe's trolls had enough and left the darklands and those who chose to stay there to rot. Orlagk's mother at the time had taken the role in finding a place for them in the world above after she killed the old chief and took his place. ( her name was mogua )
:He didn't really have any close friends in his childhood but he was strong and charismatic, so his fellow trolls would over look his awkward and insecure moments. When Orlagk got older and he became king, he became more confident and more respected.
:One of the reasons why Orlagk is a cannibal and most of the other older gumm-gumms because when the tribe had still lived in the darklands, they would have to resort to cannibalizing the weak when they couldn't find enough food it live. Even when Orlagk became the warlord of the gumm-gumms and they didn't need to eat other trolls, the habit never really left him and it became a way to strike fear into his enemies and those who would question him. He gives the opportunity to not consume their kind to those who do not wish to tho. ("It doesn't matter how you get that kill count, as long its high and bloody."-Orlagk.)

: He use to have a beautiful mane but he started bolding young in his late troll 20s. Its genetically inherited to were they would lose their manes very early in life and it affects the male and female members of the family. Orlagk's mother went completely bold when Orlagk was barely a teenager. Skarlagk wasn't affected really by this, because of her mother's gens. (Also Orlagk trying to have children many times and gunmar's betrayal didn't help his hair lose)
