Such a touching moment between Rowen and a certain someone... 👀 captured by the wonderful @orsanedraws (neshama_art on instagram!) Here’s a little excerpt...

Rowen felt her face flush and she busied herself with laying out her blankets. The others were following suit, readying themselves for a night of fitful sleep. As she pulled herself under the embrace of the blankets, Garrett arranged himself opposite her, propping his head against the black folds of his discarded robe. “I don’t know if I want to sleep,” he whispered. Offering her a crooked smile, “I’m afraid this really will be a dream.”

Rowen grinned into her blankets. “You’ll wish it had been, come tomorrow.”

Shaking his head, he reached out a hand into the space between them. Calling heat to her fingertips she gripped his outstretched hand, willing drowsiness into his skin. She saw his eyelids droop, and they murmured together in the dim firelight until sleep took them both.
