Do any systems have any tips on time management between alters?
Specifically, we want to give the free time after work to -alter- but then someone else ends up hoarding the front and not letting -alter- have their day that day.
What ways can we minimize other alters taking scheduled time from -alter-
So Host wants to see if we can get a diagnosis of OSDD just to feel secure(?) In knowing he's not faking it, and that is Official. But at the same time, having us around doesnt overly disstress him, despite us being a new addition in the last 6 months. And we also live in a hard-to-diagnose state. So hes worried that because it doesnt cause extreme stress he might not get diagnosed or be told he is truly faking it. Any recommendations?
So, just somethin funky. I’m fairly positive I have osdd but I’m not capable of seeking a diagnosis at the moment (tho I am about to start working with a behavioral health specialist whatever the heck that is) anywaysss
I do not understand where the line between child me and regressed me is. Do I even regress or am I just dissociating. Bc they feel very much the same, I just like to be called different names depending on how (or who?) I’m feeling. It really depends on age. But also it’s all very fuzzy. And I myself have very childish interests! I love dolls to the extreme and collect toys.
And if I am actually having a dissociative episode and not regressing, is it wrong for the alter (?) to be seeking out someone to care for them since they are a child? (Do I treat them like an actual child?) That scares me bc I had to stop myself (them?) from messaging an abusive ex bc said ex was also a “caregiver” (I use that term loosely, he was very nasty) and I (again, they??) wanted to have someone to look after them again. It’s all very weird and confusing. I’ve explored this before I think on other blogs (I’ve actually had separate blogs for various alters ((or what I believe are alters)) over the years, I don’t remember some)
okay so
i know no one sees this but still am going to rant any way am 70% sure i have DID or OSDD but after like 2 years of coming to turms with it am freacking out if any one had advice to systems plz tell me
Is there anyone around who would be ok with dming or something i think I am part of a system but im still unsure and seeking diagnosis rn and in a bad place aaa
Hi, I'm trying to work out if I'm part of a system (part three)
Under the cut cause it's long
I'm thinking I have OSDD but my family and my therapist all are very uneducated on everything mental health related (ironic and very annoying that my therapist is) plus I find it hard to explain things properly, every time I try to people all say "oh no I experience the same" and then explain how they experience it and it's just.. not what I'm trying to explain at all
For example I told my mum "I don't remember the majority of my childhood, even from just a year or two ago" and she's all like "haha yeah remembering when you were a small child is always hard but you can eventually remember so just keep on thinking" like.. No that's not what I mean, I mean I don't remember like.. 99% of my own life. Even the last few months/days I struggle to remember.
Another example: I explained how I seem to have different memories of the small parts I do remember, and the amount I can remember seems to change often alongside a change in my personality (as in the way I behave) and she was all like "yeah I remember things in my life going differently to what others remember" but I mean that sometimes I'm adamant that things went one way and other times someone will be like "Remember when you told me about when ___" and I'm just like "no you mean when *completely different thing happened*" but sometimes it goes between them and I don't fully know what was actually real and which memory is just.. another mes?
So basically just like- how do I properly do research into all of this and then properly get people to understand and listen and then get my therapist to Actually try and learn about it too
