That life-changing moment around 12 summers ago was somehow fresh on the periwinkle-colored seafolk's mind, as if time wasn't as bewildering already a concept. He smiled to himself, reminiscing on scars gone by.
Even the physical ones it seemed as he absentmindedly felt his chest. Pride beamed in like the sun's rays, his heart felt bright on happiness. He was certain of everything at this point in his life, holding a sustainable job as a fisherman while he himself (for lack of a better term) was also a fishman. Alberto: "Ciao mi amor! Got a minute? I need to ask something."
She tilts her head to the side at the inquiry, but replies with a "sure" as she strolls closer.
Alberto: "Hey, so Luca told me about 'puppy love'. Is that right? Is this what we are?"
Giulia: "Yeah pretty much, I mean, sort of but not really. We're kids yeah. We definitely have a lot to figure out but…"
She holds his left hand in hers.
Giulia: "I think we're all pretty sure of the feelings we have for one another, no? Sei tutto per me- No, no, no, aspettate… You two are my everything, and I wouldn't ask for more. "
He snorted, holding in a laugh that all but escaped his puffed mouth. Giulia giving a look of inquiring confusion at the sound.
Alberto: "It's puppy love as people call it but, since you're dating two seafolk..."
Giulia could sense where this was going.
Alberto: "Heh, I guess you could call it, 'guppy love' instead."
She half-groaned and half-giggled at the joke that wasn't even that clever, but still funny nonethless.
The sun overhead sets as they sit by the docks, waiting for Luca to stroll by after a little errand he had to go and do. And they would wait happily for him no matter how long it took.
