Helix lucorum (left) vs Otala lactea (right), compared to my hand.
I didn't check shells but I'm pretty sure that's Peony on the left.
I haven't named the milk snail, I probably should, now that it's surviving well and finally participating in the tank. It spent a few weeks very stubbornly glued to the glass in protest after I brought it home, and only within the last few weeks has it started coming out nightly with the lucorum to feed and travel. It's mad in this photo because I turned their light on when I got home, and interrupted feeding time.
I brought home two lactea, but the other one died within a couple of days of coming home, so I suspect it was on the way out when I got them. Admittedly, there were a couple of dead ones in the "display" container already, so I don't think they were very well off. I wish I'd had enough to grab a couple more at the time. I'll just have to keep an eye out for another 1-2 of them.
