Also also, "thoughts and prayers" is a phrase commonly used by the left to mock the idea that people should respond to tragedies with anything other than knee-jerk gun control.
The obvious retort is "why do you need to exploit people's emotions in the heat of the moment to pass the gun control? If it's so 'reasonable', why do you want to act while people are unreasonable?"
