If you could wake up and instantly have ONE of these things tomorrow, which would you choose?
A spouse/partner (exact perfect match for you, soulmate, etc.)
A house (your dream property, any location of your choice, fully paid off, etc)
One time payment of $1,000,000 (no catch, fully legally acquired, not taxed)
A solid friend group (no drama, dream compatibility, reliable support system)
Your dream job (success in any one area of your choice, complete job security)
One person of your choice dies in a random accident (never traced to you)
Bring one person of your choice back to life (never draws suspicion, no catch)
Become 10 years younger physically (no resulting health issues, no catch, etc)
Become expert level at any one skill (skill cannot be lost, no work to maintain)
Become famous instantly (at whatever level of fame is desirable to you)
(also feel free in the tags to clarify Why you made the choice you made!! :0c)

Every time It gets reaffirmed that Mike has no idea about Wills feelings the rink o mania fights gets funnier from Mikes perspective, because he really did just get pissy at will for not talking to him, crash out about romantic implications he made up in his head and then get sad because he got friend zoned by the guy he just called his friend
thinking about this again

One of the things I would like to share with the world about Project Hail Mary is as follows:
Eva Stratt played the Trolley Problem with Ryland Grace. Her choice was the obvious choice. The only choice. You don’t sacrifice the five people on the train track to save the one. You don’t sacrifice the world to save one man. Grace alone is not as important as the entire world. Eva knew that. It’s why she did what she did. It was the only choice.
Rocky also played the Trolley Problem with Grace. However, Rocky made the stupid choice. He chose to save Grace after Grace crashed into the ship’s computers, risking his ENTIRE WORLD in the process. Grace even asks in the book: “Why would he sacrifice his planet for me?” And it’s just…guys…the PARALLELS. Both Eva and Rocky played the Trolley Problem with this man. Both loved him in their own ways. Cared about him. But Rocky, that little, amazing space rock, was so loyal, so loving, so incredibly dumb, and so incredibly brave, he picked the one over the five. He picked Grace over his world.
And it’s like…guys…Grace went his whole life thinking he was expendable and unimportant, which hit the hardest when Eva (admittedly not so easily, but Grace didn’t realize that at the time) threw him to the endless stars to save the world.
And then here comes this little creature who loves Grace unconditionally, enough to give up his whole world to save him. Grace went his whole life thinking his life didn’t matter, and this one Eridian, his Rocky, said, “Bitch, please. You matter to me more than ANYTHING.” And was willing to give up his world for this stupid, brave human that was now his.
I’m gonna make myself cry writing this, wtf.
people don’t dwell on how crux cared for harrow as much as they should. he was the only one left to attend to her when her parents died, aswell as being her caregiver before they passed.
these are a few examples of him feeling genuine familial affection towards her, because he was all she had. and harrow felt the same
even though crux is a detestable sour old man who swears fealty to the ninth at every juncture, he wasn’t committed to the tomb or to the house of the ninth, he was committed to the reverend daughter of the ninth; his daughter
