to any anons on the fence about buying an ery, i got mine in and she's wonderful! oueneifs did an amazing job with mine so she's 100% worth it in my opinion. her sculpt is super cute and worth the price. and oueneif's custom faceups are godlike, they can do any faceup you want and it'll look exactly like the reference pic you give them!
I legitimately just ordered a doll from oueneifs with a faceup that I drew on a picture of a naked head myself as reference: they did it EXACTLY as I asked. For 15$! You guys won't find that quality or price anywhere else!
So Ive been "anti-recast" for almost 5 years before realising that I am just saying that because I wanted to be in the cute elitist cult, wanted to be part of the drama (with backup) and have my dolls be "popular".
But thats not what this hobby is about.
Ive had several horrible transactions with Fairyland, Luts and Lati and Im just done with it.
If you wanna sell me a 500$+ doll you better make it frikkin good.
Both my Recast Celine and Woosoo are MILES better than my legit dolls were and I got the two cuties for 80€ each with a custom face up!!!
They were on sale but even 100€ is a amazing price.
Buying from Oueneifs was such a good experience and I dont wanna miss that customer service ever again.
Next up Ill finally get a actual dark skin Minifee, something Ive been only able to dream of
There's also a wide variety of skin (resin) colors you can choose from:
Just ask them for the color you want.
P.S.
NEVER trust people who look "cute pastel innocent", they're the WORST of the WORST.
That's why they're covered in kawaii glitter and pastel angelic colors.
Some time back an anon asked if Ouniefs custom faceups are good. Let me tell u - they are able, in my experience, to recreate artist faceups for a fraction of the price and time. I am afraid to append photos but I've done this: I've looked up artist faceups on social media/google and sent it to Ouniefs asking them to recreate it. And they did. Down to every last mole and freckle. I have recasts that look like artist painted legits. And I didn't need to spend hundreds and wait 2 years. But wait til the anti's find out who I am. They'll be burning me at the stake.
This Anon it's right, follow their Instagram for more examples of amazing faceups: instagram.com/chinabjd/
Im just,,, amazed by oueneifs,,, Last time I got a doll from them was 5 years ago but they still remember which country I'm from. Super fast and attentive. I just feel like I have to buy from them
They tend to be...
how good are oueneif/chinabjd's faceups if you send them pictures of what you want it to look like? i'm v new to dolls (and i really don't get the elitism lmao) but if their faceups aren't too good, i do have art supplies and could prob go to goodwill and get cheap doll heads to practice on instead of spending $$$
In my experience custom faceups from Oueneifs are extraordinary. Examples:
But you have to talk to the seller and provide pictures of what you want in a clear way.
Their regular faceups aren't bad, but are pretty much generic, so make sure to clear that out with the seller before and during your order.
It's not the same to work on resin than to work on other materials like plastic ore rubber, therefore, unless you find a resin head at goodwill, yeah...it kinda' helps you improve, but when you try resin you'll find some things don't work on it, so I encourage you to learn, but, in the meantime, get a pro custom faceup from Oueneifs.
Just my personal opinion.
(Sometimes I think legit companies are just giving people explicit encouragement to buy recasts...)
(Meanwhile, recast sellers are coming with new ideas for you to order...)
