Pisces: Moon/Venus/Rising/Mars/Chiron, 12H Moon, 12H Chiron, 12H Venus, and Cancer: Moon/Rising/Venus/Mars/Chiron often attracts emotionally wounded souls who are subconsciously seeking the unconditional love they lacked in their life through their healing and nurturing energy. Individuals with these placements could feel naturally drawn to healing others on a deep emotional level, especially if they carry their own emotional wounds. Because of these factors, they naturally empathize with others pain and might even feel responsible for their well-being. However, it’s important for these placements to understand that they are not a well from which others can endlessly draw nourishment, as their empathy has limits.
Scorpio: Moon/Venus/Rising/Mars/Chiron, 12H Pluto, and 8H Placements can frequently attract dark/negative energy from others. Their energy can feel transformative, mysterious, and powerful, which often triggers unhealed souls to want to consume their aura for themselves at an energetic level. Furthermore, their energy is intense and often serves as a reflection of the darker aspects within others. However, not everyone is ready to face their shadow, which may often cause harm to these placements as people can project their unhealed aspects onto them.
This is the topic I have always wanted to make a specific post about. Many people ask me about the outer planets when I make observations about planets, since I never include outer planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto). I wanna make a post about why I don't use them in practice.
I don't use the outer planets because they are unnecessary in my practice. I practice traditional astrology (Hellenistic astrology if you will), where there are only seven visible planets: Moon, Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. That doesn't make traditional astrology limited, stagnant or unprogressive. Keep in mind that astrology is mostly about pattern recognition and predicting the future events, not just about who you are and what you are here to do. Your birth chart should reflect your overall life and your ups and downs in life, not to give you fairytales on how to live your best life.
We all know that the Sun is the center of the solar system. The planets revolve around the Sun. The Sun is a light giver, meaning that it gives light to other planets in the sky. The Moon is the fastest moving planet, while Saturn is the slowest moving planet in astrology. The Moon takes 2-3 days to change a sign, while Saturn takes 2-3 years to change a sign. But the outer planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) are slower than Saturn, which is already a distant planet. The outer planets are too far away from the Sun, therefore they don't have much of an influence in our lives.
Another reason why I don't use the outer planets is because the meaning of the outer planets are taken from the seven visible planets. Let me show you some examples!
Uranus
Uranus is mostly considered the co-ruler of Aquarius or even the ruler of Aquarius on its own in modern astrology. Uranus is mostly described as a planet of revolution, change, unpredictability and rebellion and is often called the higher octave of Mercury. That doesn't make much sense because Mercury already represents sudden changes of fate and unpredictability. Mercury is not only about communication, guys. You can use Mercury to see which area of your life seems contradictive and changing. Mars already represents revolution and rebellion in astrology. Why would we use Uranus for things which are already represented by Mercury or Mars?
Neptune
Neptune is always considered the co-ruler of Pisces or even the ruler of Pisces on its own in modern astrology. It is always described as the planet of illusions, dreams, ideals, art, music or eternity and it's often called the higher octave of Venus. The Moon already represents illusions and dreams. Have you ever realized how many artists and songwriters write about the Moon? That is because the Moon makes us feel dreamy, imaginative and melancholic. Jupiter already represents the ideals because Jupiter is the legitimate ruler of Pisces. Venus already represents art and music, since it's a planet of pleasure and it's also the exaltation ruler of Pisces. Why would we use Neptune for things which are represented by the Moon, Jupiter and Venus?
Pluto
Pluto is always considered the co-ruler of Scorpio or even the ruler of Scorpio on its own in modern astrology. It is described as the planet of transformation, death, rebirth, destruction, power and darkness and it's often called the higher octave of Mars. The Sun already represents transformation, death, rebirth and power. Whenever a planet (except the Moon) gets too close to the Sun, the planet eventually dies, get burned and then get reborn after that. Speaking of power, the Sun represents kings and presidents of a country. It represents those who are famous, noticeable and respected. Saturn already represents death and darkness, since Saturn is so far away from the Sun. Mars already represents destruction. Why would we use Pluto for things which are represented by the Sun, Saturn and Mars?
If you have any questions about this topic, I'm here to answer them.
I had a brain blast and decided to break down what all of the planets mean in tropical astrology. I try to use one word that I feel applies to the planet the most and let that be the guide, then a metaphor example to further explain the signification.
SUN: your ability to grow as a person (and what you grow into)
AUTHORITY. relating to personal power, authority, self expression, and independence. if you were King, how would you rule? where would you rule? what’s a priority to you? where was your personal power found?
MOON: your emotional nature, your perspective, your mind.
INSTINCT. Moon comes naturally to you. What were drawn towards, who we are drawn towards, what experiences we create naturally for ourselves. Moon is felt. Moon is experienced.
Moon is the mother, so it's a tender position. It feels true and can be a source of incredible strength. It represents nurturing and our needs as humans.
ASCENDANT: your physical body, central theme of your life
PHYSICS, but in this case we study YOUR motion through time and space!
how that motion impacts other people
what YOU pursue and HOW (chart ruler)
MERCURY: communication style, what the mind will be drawn to. interests and hobbies. mental processing.
INTELLECT, the mental powers and capabilities of a person.
developed through information, listening, exploring interests, communicating.
you witness the intellect in communication.
Do you listen more than you talk? What do you talk about? What captivates your mind?
VENUS: Relationship style. how you are with romance and intimate partners. your personal sense of beauty/values. your “perfume”. what pleases you
BEAUTY, a combination of qualities that pleases the senses.
Related to our earthly experiences, our pleasure driven functions.
Your quality of beauty, what you find beautiful, who you find beautiful, what pleases you, who pleases you.
MARS: Commanding style. personal sense of ambition, passion, anger, excitement. sexual personality. driving force.
how would you drive a car? are you blasting music? are you smoking? are you playing hymnals? what about road rage? where are you going?
Mars in Taurus might be taking their time, enjoying the scenery. There may be air fresheners in the car and snacks. They're headed to a brunch or to a hair appointment. Mars in Sagittarius is probably on a bike and on their way to go hiking!
SEXUAL, not necessarily pertaining to sex. Think of it more as a matter of instincts, passion, and pursuing that which we are drawn to. How is your passion expressed? How is it expressed within an intimate contact? How does it drive you towards your ambitions? How does your body perform the work?
These next planets have more of an external influence on our persons.
JUPITER: where you find blessings, where you are lucky. where your god-given talents and abilities manifest. your sense of spirituality and faith.
ABUNDANCE. Where we experience abundance we can have a sense of spirituality/faith around it. Jupiter in 4H may receive much through the family or through the mother and have a very faith-based relationship with them. Jupiter in the 3H may have a natural gift for speaking and writing. These are the gifts that bring them abundance and blessings. Jupiter in the 5H Libra may have a lot of faith in their children. They may believe in fighting for children's rights or defending children.
SATURN: where you encounter restrictions/limitations. where you need more structure and patience. where some of your deepest fears lie. karma in the form of tests.
THE SUMMIT/GAUNTLET. Saturn is the mountain we have to climb and it may take a while. Gauntlet also works as a good metaphor too, as Saturn can feel like a series of trials and tests, each one more difficult than the last. However the bounty that awaits you? Mastery, competence, and maturity. Saturn has a sobering effect, like the air on top of the mountain. It's clear and crisp.'
And sometimes those trials we face feel familiar. We encounter people from our current past, souls from past lives, circumstances we did not master in previous incarnations. It can feel ancient.
URANUS: where the LIGHTNING strikes
innovation and insight and ingenuity
where you tend to rebel
where sudden changes and upheavals will come
your innovative spark, if uranus is the lightning bolt of inspiration you are the conduit. what you produce is what makes you “unique”
NEPTUNE: where the MIST sets in
where you face a lot of deception, mystery, and confusion.
where a sense of magic dwells. the inexplicable
where your “dream” lives
where you connect to something greater
PLUTO: where POWER and TRANSFORMATION lie
here you must go into the underworld and take what is yours
where you’ve lost power, where you feel out of control, where you feel TOO powerful. power struggles in general
how and where you evolve
where you may endure trauma, loss, and change
South Node: past life patterns, area of former mastery, what you’re used to. where you may suffer loss or become detached. the point through which you find spiritual liberation
North Node: you feel a pull in this direction, “destiny coded”. where you can become obsessed and lost. where you may create something entirely new for yourself. another point of spiritual liberation and detachment.
Just from knowing Rahu (NN) and Ketu (SN) in Vedic, I believe that we must find a balance between South and North nodes and develop conscious awareness of the pulls from both nodes, lest we be swallowed whole.
BONUS ASTEROIDS:
CHIRON: Childhood wounds, trauma endured when young. where a great bit of healing will be done in your life. you learn to live with this and the lessons associated will be your gift to share.
LILITH: how you’ve been outcasted. where you feel shame. you rebel at all costs here and may lose favors because of it. another aspect of sexual personality
pluto stationed retrograde on may 6th at 5° aquarius and won't turn direct until october. and unlike mercury retrograde, this one isn't going to throw your schedule off or make your emails disappear.
pluto retrograde is internal work. it's the planet of transformation, power, and what lives underneath the surface asking you to slow down and actually look at what you've been building, avoiding, or holding onto.
in aquarius, that theme gets collective. the questions it's raising are about where you fit into the bigger picture, who holds power in your life and why, and what old versions of yourself are still taking up space.
you probably won't feel this one loudly. it tends to show up as a slow realization, a pattern you finally name, or something you thought you were over suddenly feeling relevant again.
if you have placements at or near 5° aquarius, taurus, scorpio, or leo, this retrograde is speaking directly to you.
it's not here to break anything. it's here to show you what was already cracked.
everyone's favorite ringed planet, and in astrology it becomes more like everyone's favorite to hate and misunderstand.
ive been reading a lot of questions on the astrology subreddit today and my mercury seemed to be incredibly stuck in the gravitational pull of saturn as a topic- i saw Multiple takes that i did Not agree with whatsoever and decided to make a post like this to debunk a whole lot of them and give you my take on what Saturn really is in astrology
saturn is most commonly associated with the physical plane of being, the material, money, finances, business, etc, all because it rules an earth sign and saturn, the god, was a god of abundance, wealth and agriculture.
bc of saturn's association with money and the material, capricorn as a sign also got a bad rap for being overly concerned with the material, money, work, and while this isn't a Bad rap, being good at managing finances as well.
if u know my blog well enough by this point, it shouldn't be a surprise that i IMMENSELY disagree with this 😵💫😵💫
to me, saturn is the first of the outer planets, and jupiter is not the last of the inner planets, jupiter is the bridge between the inner and outer planets.
where jupiter invites us to cross over to and be made aware of the higher realms of existence, saturn is the first step into those same higher realms.
jupiter is the beckoning, saturn is the answering.
as such, saturn represents ultimately the dissolution of our egos, but in this lifetime, the balance between the two.
that seems like a huge jump from what it's traditionally associated with right? well let's look at the sciency stuff real quick.
saturn's rings are an incredible phenomenon, they require just enough gravitational pull from the planet to hold them in place, and they need to be far enough away in order for the planet not to suck them in completely.
but ultimately this is a losing battle, saturn's rings will eventually dissipate within about 100 million years saturn will go bald 💔
the rings are a perfect representation of balance, and their inevitable fate is a perfect representation of what will eventually and always end.
you cannot always have balance, saturn is perfectly aware of this, but you have to have balance for as long as you must.
you have to balance your ego with your soul for as long as you live, and then when you return to the nothing, your ego will completely dissolve.
this is what saturn is.
saturn is about inevitable transcendance.
the ego is a purely human concept, but it still manages to be sorely misunderstood.
your ego is not you, it's your titles, your labels, what you are to other people, etc. the ego is saying "I am a mother", "I am a CEO", "I work for [thing]", "I do [thing]", "I am a husband", etc.
your ego is what you can offer to other people.
your Soul doesn't care about any of that, your soul says "I am me", "I am a person", that's it. your soul is you, your ego is essentially your human identity.
saturn reminds us that none of us are people, none of us are CEOs or mothers or anything, we are all spiritual beings undergoing a physical experience. but it doesn't rip us away from that physical experience, it just encourages the awareness that there's more to it than what we can see.
this is why saturn demands balance.
we have to be aware that we are not our bodies, we are not our statuses, we have to be aware that we are beings of pure energy, constantly learning what it means to be alive in as many different formats as possible.
but we can't let that awareness detach us completely from what we're experiencing, because then we won't learn the lessons we signed up for.
what's ironic is that the planet all about dissolution of the ego is the same planet that got a very egoic interpretation. we said saturn is the material, the physical plane of being, money, status, etc, those are all extremely grounded concepts in the sense that they're all human-made. they're all made for the ego.
since saturn is so about dissolution of the ego, this also ties into the fact that, to me, saturn rules over drive and the willpower.
saturn is driven and motivated to hell and back to evolve, this is why capricorns are so often painted as ambitious. they're ambitious, absolutely, but only toward evolution into their highest self.
this is gonna sound like an oxymoron but i honestly believe saturn is exalted in aries instead of libra.
saturn's motto (to me) is "I define who I become", right, think about it- Aries' mantra is literally "I am."
aries seeks the self, it defines itself to know what it is and what it isn't- that's exactly what saturn does.
saturn also therefore is accidentally exalted in the 1st house and feels very comfortable in fire signs.
take me for example- my saturn is in leo in my 1st house and my midheaven is in aries (10th house is saturn's domicile), so my saturn is in trine with the house of its rulership that's in its exaltation (to me) and it's in the house of its exaltation too (1st house has an aries connotation).
the last few months i have actually been going through a HUGE saturn lesson and it dragged my chiron in with it too, and it's been fucking Rough. last night i felt the worst i have felt in years, feeling like i just wanted to give up on life.
today, i am back on my bullshit like nothing ever happened because my saturn in 1st house makes me REFUSE to give up no matter how much life hurts. i have literally fuck it we ball-ed myself out of this shit.
im still working through the lesson, but it was an extremely saturn in leo 1st house lesson.
i forgot how to be comfortable being alone and then when i got comfortable again, i got scared of people ruining it, and im Still scared of people ruining it because i feel like i have no space in my life for anyone else right now.
and before this, i felt like i had no space for myself in my life.
saturn's lessons can be extremely painful, yes, but they're not malefic in any way. they're literally there for us to achieve balance and evolve into what we need to be before we inevitably die and lose our egos completely.
it's a balancing act now, but it'll be a funeral later, for your body and your ego.
ANYWAY- im gonna leave you with some links to further reading and stuff if you're at all interested in more abt this kinda topic-
i just wanted to yap abt this for a minute bc i thought it was rly interesting- that's abt it. see ya 😵💫

"A psychic is a person who claims to use extrasensory perception (ESP) to identify information hidden from the normal senses", Wikipedia. In this small part, I would like to remind you that before becoming an astrologer, I am a witch and my contact with the mystic is very different and unique. In case you're wondering "what do you mean by different?", I’ve possession and werewolf storie in my family. I say this, because for me psychic abilities goes much deeper than most posts I’ve seen. I WILL NOT BE WRITING "POSSIBLY/LIKELY" IN ALL ASPECTS!!
