Killer crispy oven chips
Here is a recipe for killer, crispy oven chips. Make some aioli and it is literally a match made in heaven.
Ingredients:
750g Desirée potatoes (about 3 medium large) unpeeled
olive oil
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
thyme
rosemary
1 clove of garlic finely chopped
Method:
wash the potatoes and cut them into 1cm thick chips
blanch chips for 4-5 minutes
place on baking tray, drizzle with oil and add seasoning/herbs to taste
bake for 30 minutes or until golden, making sure they are turned a couple of times
