13 Feb 2017. There’s nothing more satisfying than dusting and rearranging your bookshelves. I’m hoping to take part in the #OwlCrateathon over the next two weeks! It runs until February 25, and has three mini challenges: 📚 Read the #OwlCrate book you’ve owned the longest and haven’t read. For me, that’s The Serpent King, which was in my first ever @OwlCrate box. 📚 Read at least one fantasy and one contemporary. I’ve picked P.S. I Like You and Of Fire and Stars. 📚 Read at least three books in total. Hopefully I’ll get through these three! I’m really looking forward to having this challenge as motivation. What books are next on your TBR pile?

19 Feb 2017. What are you #currentlyreading? I’m hoping to speed through my review copy of #Freeks since I have a review due on the 21st. As soon as I finish that, I’m diving into the audiobook of #PSILikeYou for the #OwlCrateathon. Every day I’m shuffin’ my TBR books around as if that will help me get through them faster. It is a ridiculous system and it 100% does not work.

21 Feb 2017. Day 21 #AmpersandFeb17: Shade. GUYS. I have a READING PLAN. I won’t stick to it but it’s so clear in my mind right now that I have to share it with you: 1. Finish reading The Serpent King, then read Of Fire and Stars for #OwlCrateathon. 2. Read A Darker Shade of Magic because it probably needs to be returned to the library and I’m probably being a jerk. 3. Read Lady Helen and the Dark Days Pact. 4. ???? 5. PROFIT. I’m feeling pretty powerful after reading Freeks one day and P.S. I Like You the next. (Also possibly delusional because I’m extremely tired.) BUT HONESTLY, if I could keep up this kind of pace, I would be finished with my TBR pile by the end of the year. DREAM WITH ME. No, really. I need to get some sleep. Even powerful fast-reading book nerds should not stay up until stupid o’clock two nights in a row when they know they have a full week of work ahead.

So I totally got behind with the #owlcrateathon We only just got put on official lockdown here in KC on Tuesday. Worked on buying groceries here and there while NOT panic stockpiling. Also, getting the pup taken care of- very important 🐶 Plus, been reorganizing my books and shelves, purging a few and making more room (still not enough though) #helpme 📚 Owlcrate’s second picture prompt is your favorite book they have featured... Now, I may have over 40 of their books but I’ve only read a small fraction of that. Unfortunately, I did not do what I wanted to do during this #readathon but I did get a lot of cleaning done. So that’s still a win. Anyway, my #OCFAV is a tie between The Gentlemen’s Guide to Vice and Virture by @themackenzilee & The Daughter of the Pirate King by @tricialevenseller 🎻 🧜🏻‍♀️ I fell in love with the worlds and characters these authors created right away and devoured their sequels and other works as well!!
