Dawg, Clark Gregg is an insane dude actually.

He literally played a helpless, saddest puppy dog version of his character in a different universe that's just the smollest lil guy I wanna squeeze and hug forever (Like... look at him. Squish guy. fw!Coulson my beloved 🥹🫶🏻)

And then a little over a whole season later he plays an evil imposter version of his character that even when he smiles it doesn't look quite right (I was so hoping Daisy was gonna grab his skull and bash it into the table when Sarge asked "What? You got some daddy issues?")

the way that coulson defines so much of who sarge is. its like hes inside him fighting against pachakutiq the entire time. it spikes everytime izel gets close to waking pachakutiq up, he just yanks him back. i need a fic where they actually manage to separate them, or where coulson gets a clear moment for himself while theyre dying at least or something
