Dedicating a candle to Apollo that had already been burned

Giving an OC character the same name as a deity

Drawing Aphrodite as an offering

Putting fairie lights on an altar

Spilling water on an altar

Offering fake flowers

Worshiping Nyx in a graveyard

Washing rose quartz with soap before giving it to Aphrodite

Calling Apollo 'father'

Dyeing their hair

Offering traced art of a deity's statues

Offering a can of Monster with an apple depicted on it to Aphrodite

Lighting incense with a candle flame when the candle is meant for a different deity

Having sex next to Aphrodite's altar

I am begging you all to unlearn your religious trauma. These are all such small actions that the Theoi do not care a whit about, beyond the devotion and love behind them. Worship the divine how you wish to!

My Little Study Ritual Thing

Alright, this is what I do when I have to study for a test. It helps me calm down, relax and focus. This is a good thing considering I get test anxiety and end to begin to freak out when I need not.

Items Needed:

A white candle

vanilla incense

Alright, the very firs thing I do is clean off the area that I am going to study on. There needs to be nothing around that will be a distraction. Not to mention dirt and disorganization can bring bad energies.

Next create a couple sigils. (This part is not entirely necessary, but I like doing this anyways.) I create one for focus and one for staying calm. Afterwards, I carve the sigils onto the white candle. (I use emergency candles. They are wonderful.) Next light the candle with the intent to study, stay focused and calm or whatever you customize this to. I usually try to find a place on my work space to place the candle. (Being aware of where the flame will be.)

Then light the vanilla incense. For me, vanilla is not only a calming scent, but it helps bring back memories. I usually put the incense on the dresser behind me so that it can fill the room.

My focus usually stays until the candle burns out, but since I use emergency candles they are made to burn for hours on end.

Feel free to customize this to fit they way you see fit, whether you see fit to evoke a god or goddess to help you, or to use a different scent of incense or a different color candle, maybe one that holds close to the subject you are trying to study.

if the god of impulse and furious fire decides to strike our planets with etherial combustion, then let us bathe each other in  plasma, let us crack like red glass into madness, let us mine deep into  our lungs for oxygen and tie our wrists  tight with the bonds, proud, covalent,  bursting forth, so exothermic that the molten waves submerge us. we are not two animals who have succumb to  the embers of electromagnetism. we are plates in  the lithosphere who have built infernal mountains  across the ocean floor, millennia of melting together  atop the blazing peaks.
