I keep sinning, but no one has the power to stop me
When holy water was rare at best It barely wet my fingertips. But now I have to hold my breath Like I’m swimming in a sea of it. It used to be a world half there Heaven’s second rate hand-me-down. …
Pantheism from a more pagan background
Idea: A bad Catholic fanfic about Paganism: "Reborn as a Demonic Babysitter of the Land".
Someone I’m not sure who just had a huge wasp appear in my room and I’d like that to not happen again considering I’m allergic. I know it wasn’t naturally appearing because it’s four fucking degrees.
Whats Happening with Paganism
Many people don’t know it, but I am a practicing pagan. I don’t voice my opinion much about my faith and religion. I keep it to my self like we are supposed to. However, I must say lately I don’t like what people are doing to the way of life as a pagan. They are corrupting our ways and turning it into what it was never supposed to be.
Paganism is a way on life it’s not a religion. Its a belief set that gives us faith and peace within our own selves. We use rituals big or small, to help us better our lives, much like a Christians uses prayer to forgive, forget, and for guidance. We use our rituals for our selves. There is no right or wrong way to be pagan. For someone to think that there is, they are wrong and not a true pagan by my book.
Paganism is a definition, it isn’t a secret society or a way people can lash out on others. Paganism is a way you live, practice and believe. There are so many gods, spirits, an things to worship. From gods of light and things of dark. It’s a way for you to support your faith and belief. It isn’t something you can use to lash out on others, especially of the same faith system.
If a fellow pagan wants to worship lucifer it is there right to practice and worship who they want, for any one to say they aren’t a pagan because of it is dead weight to the way of life paganism represents.
Pagan is a way to worship 1 or more gods, by rituals, spells, chants, sacrifices, beliefs, and worship. It’s a definition not a religion. It was never defined as a white religion, like any faith system there is light and dark to it. You don’t have to be a loving peace hippy who worships the goddess of love and happiness to be a pagan. That is what our world has come to, a definition and stereo type of a pagan. And that stereo type is wrong. I see people today, pagans non the less, that use that stereo type to condemn wiccans, and other forms or our faith system. We are not the Catholic Church, we do not condemn a sect of our way of life because who they worship. That’s what made us elite to the Christians. That is what makes us superior to the modern religions that threw us under the bus, stole our ways, and burned out people a the stake. This is why we are strong, we have been threw so much as a people. We are united. We are pagans. We are not the judge and jury for our own people. We are not here to place damnation or blame on any set of people, or religion. Especially our own kind.
Our faith says Do on to others as you would do on to your self. Send what yé will, do no harm to others, and count on receiving what you send, back times 3 (or 10 depending on which version you believe in).
Those are our rules of life, those are they ways we live by. It does not say you can’t do this, your aren’t a pagan if you do that. It doesn’t say judge and condemn, it doesn’t say this is your god, and only god.
People need to go back to class and learn from what the ancients taught and preached to us.
Just like every belief system there is light and dark. It is our duty to except all, no judgements. It is not our duty or right to profess what is wrong and what is right. We follow the guidance of who or what ever. We aren’t judges, we aren’t hateful, or full of spite. We do not condemn our own because of the deity they worship. And if you do, you need to take a long hard look at your faith and reassess, because you aren’t pagan. Not by the ancients, or our ancestors ways.
Paganism is a definition. Not a corporation. Learn it. And learn it well.
Blessed it be.
