i'm joining paintable.cc's one week character challenge and here's where i'm at on day 3! the character i chose is called 'the red queen' and she's a dark witch who's rumored to have come in power by putting a love spell on the king.i'm having a lot of fun and this challenge is such a nice way to push me out of my comfort zone :)

day 1 was the pose, day 2 the outfit and today day 3 was color!

It’s been a loooong time since I posted here so I thought it might be a good idea to upload some newer stuff, especially with everything that is happening on ArtStation, where many of us might never return.

Learning how to render! I feel like the edges are too sharp on the pear and that's on me cause the mask tool on clip studio is a little sus tbh. But! Overall I think this pear looks good and I'm proud of her

After a long long break, recently I went back to Paintable Digital Painting Academy and was very excited about new lessons - it was finally time for painting portraits and learning more about rendering. After finishing the first three portraits, as a homework assignment for this module, I decided to paint my favourite badass. ❤ 

I am very happy with the results and my progress after just a few lessons (well, if you ignore the break I took 🙈). Once again, I have only praise for DPA — the whole course is very detailed and well constructed, and the lesson videos are short, coherent and packed with useful information. Can’t wait to see what’s next and continue my learning journey. 🤩
