After a long long break, recently I went back to Paintable Digital Painting Academy and was very excited about new lessons - it was finally time for painting portraits and learning more about rendering. After finishing the first three portraits, as a homework assignment for this module, I decided to paint my favourite badass. ❤

I am very happy with the results and my progress after just a few lessons (well, if you ignore the break I took 🙈). Once again, I have only praise for DPA — the whole course is very detailed and well constructed, and the lesson videos are short, coherent and packed with useful information. Can’t wait to see what’s next and continue my learning journey. 🤩

It’s been a hot minute, huh?

When you’re overwhelmed, you know how you feel you need just a little break? And then you take that little break, you say it will be only for a week.. and then it’s the holiday season.. and I mean, it’s the most wonderful time of the year, you should enjoy it! And then one week turns into two, and life happens too, and before you know it, it’s been almost seven months!

So what do we do now?! Panic mode is on, for some time now!!

Well, sure, we can lie down and cry a bit more. We can even decide we need another break (from taking a break).

OR we can put the new plan in motion and move forward. 💪 So let’s try that, and we’ll see where it takes us!
