i just finished book 1 and i need to know if the obsession with vanja and emeric ever becomes less than intoxicating

Holy Terrors is the final book in the fantasy series "Little Thieves"

This book was a bit of a rollercoaster. Some highs, some lows, but an all around fun time.

For the highs, I think Vanja was Peak here. Reckless, funny, and running rampant. Now with powers, it unlocked a new level of chaos from the previous two books.

The world and government is expanded and fleshed out (although it's admittedly a little goofy)

And the bond between Emeric and Vanja AT THE END was spectacular. The absolute devotion. I expect there's a good handful of fic about that.

Then there's the lows. It's slow. Emeric changed a lot. Some of the subplot was rough to get through. Like in book 2, there was a lot of time skips but this time nothing interesting seemed to happen. Ever.

Overall it's worth the read if you want to see what's after Painted Devils, but it's a bit of a let down as the final book
