#pancake fail

Got an episode of Sabrina in today 😂

Then I saw a recipe for sweet potato protein pancakes and thought wow that sounds good!! And I was right, but oh so wrong. The ones that weren't burnt to a crisp or raw were delicious 😂😂

Pancake Day

Okay quick day off of writing prompts to talk about pancake day.

Starting with breakfast, banana pancakes. So I saw the recipe on pinterest last night and decided to make them for mine and my boyfriend's breakfast. Of course the second one was completely burnt cause I couldn't flip it (I was trying to make a massive one) and set of the smoke alarm. Woke my mum up so yay! But the good ones that I made were eaten and actually tasted really good.

Lunch lacked anything associated with pancakes.

Now dinner:

Leaving it up to my sister this year because mum and I both fail at making them so it's her turn. But don't worry.

Back up pancakes.

Also this just in. I tried to flip a pancake the special way.

It fell down the side of the oven.

Work from 5:30 to 1:30 tomorrow, then I'm catching a 4:30 flight to Phoenix. Lugging my suitcase across town seems terrible, as does taking a huge puffy coat to Phoenix. I made really gross pancakes for dinner. Whey protein in pancakes is basically death. I can't wait to work out with Celeste, hike with my sister and eat all my mom's food.

haha Wow, how did that even happen? I almost posted one of those "you tried" stars, but decided against it.

I either used too much batter, used too little batter, used too much oil, used not enough oil, didn't leave them long enough before flipping, left them too long before flipping, straight up failed at flipping, or some combination thereof.

Basically, I'm not actually sure. Turns out it's a lot harder than it looks. Or maybe it's just Betty Crocker's mix? I'm a Homestuck, I can get away with blaming her, right? But, yeah, I actually considered including one of them in my own post. I mean really me. I'd say "how high do you even have to be to do that?" but I hadn't even consumed caffeine recently.

I think I'm gonna try to go to bed at 9:30 today... I've never been able to fall asleep so fast though,hopefully I do today :) P.S. my banana pancakes didn't turn out good today :'(
