Your pantless edits are on fleek! Have you considered doing a tutorial on how you do them? I would REALLY love to learn
Thank you so much! I didn’t really think of ever making a tutorial since the approach can really be as complex or straightforward as you want to make it, but I’ll break down how I approach the edits! c:1. First I get the image I want to edit and sketch a rough under structure to use as my guide on a separate layer.
2. Then I pull some colors from the original image to use and just start drawing in the legs and any other things I want to add on a separate layer. -Depending on the original image’s stylistic direction, I’ll do my best to mimic it! It’s best to be vigilant so you can make the edit look as realistic as possible, so take your time if you need and experiment with different brushes to use to your advantage! Also, it’s important to think about the character and observe their build. Some characters are more or bulky than others, so you should try to adjust how you render the legs for each character. Ryoma for example seems like a pretty strong guy, so I decided to give him more defined muscles.3. Then I throw some lineart around the edge of what I just drew on a new layer. Technically you can draw in the lines first and then start rendering, but I just like adding the lines afterwards for these c:4.Cover up anything that no longer should be visible in the original image on a new layer!
5. And of course, once I’m all done adding new content to the edit, I carefully erase what is no longer needed in the original image if it isn’t already covered up. I usually do this with a transparency mask just because I’m a fan of non-destructive editing.-The thing that I think is probably the most important is to gather up lots of helpful references! You can render the legs as beautifully as you want, but if there are a lot of noticeable errors with anatomy and such, the finished edit will likely look a bit off.Good luck and have fun!

Am I a part of the cool kids yet?
Marth has won the pantsless emblem thing, everybody can go home now
/Whispers/ you should totally do pantsless Ryoma
OK, so I had a lot of fun with this one 👀I forgot how much I enjoy practicing anatomy and whatnot, so this was a treat! My other edits:Berkut | Takumi | Shigure
I’m so sorry-
Making these edits is like eating Lays chips. You can’t have just one... Well in this case, you can’t make just one 👀
Here’s my Takumi edit if you missed it
I know you must be getting these a lot, but have you thought about making pantless spring!xander (Injuried ver for the bunbun tail ;D)?
(◡‿◡✿)(ʘ‿ʘ✿)~SPRING IS HERE~ My other edits:Takumi | Berkut | Shigure | Ryoma
OK I KNOW WHAT YOU’RE THINKING. BUT JUST BEAR WITH ME.
There seems to be a trend that started recently where people are editing pants off of male characters in FE Heroes and it’s equally silly as it is shocking. I wanted to give it a go as well because it looked kind of fun 👀
