“Nononono” repeatedly bats at the opponents with the ‘no’-shaped paw pads on his palms

“Booshes” Swings the laurel around his neck like a frisbee and attacks with a face full of BOOSH

“Sweet Face” Abandons the fight to leap gracefully over to the bench and kiss one of his wounded allies and restore their health

01/04/2020, April Fools Day.

Today is a day my household lives in fear of, April Fools Day. This is Papa K’s favourite day, he does zero planning for it. For this years April Fools day he:

- tied a toy monkey to a stick and made it knock on everyones windows.

- put a plastic squeaky catapillar inside a jar of mustard.

- did a video of the monkey getting suprised by the jar of mustard.

- locked my boyfriend in a shed.

Papa K is very into the face time/meeting platform ‘Zoom’ so much so that he is now insisting on having Zoom meetings with those of us in the house with him all. day. long. 

Often if you don’t answer his Zoom request he will Face Time you to ask they you’re not joining his Zoom Party.

Although not mentioned during the COVID-19 lockdown I think it should be shared that for a long time my father greatly enjoyed Drake’s song ‘’In My Feelings’ but insisted on singing:

“Kiki are you riding? On a pony?” over.and.over.

Papa K and I are in the garden, he asks if I can hear a cuckoo. Before I am able to respond has starts to sing:

Papa K: “CUCKOO, CUCKOO HOW DO YOU DOOO? IN APRIL I FLY AWAAAY...  IN MAAAY I PLAY ALL DAAAY…”

Me: *ahem* is that it or are there anymore lyrics?

Papa K: pff who cares.

V: Have you got your teeth in?

Papa K quickly shuts mouth & nods.

V: You haven’t have you?

Papa K continues with his nodding

V: Why haven’t you got your teeth in?!

Papa K: I only need them for when I’m speaking French!
