So I had started planning for a paper on Hellenic intersex deities and one of my basic assumptions was pretty quickly proven false...

So it’s back to the drawing board after a month break! And my current dilemma is how to balance the two main creation stories for Agdistis. The Phrygian creation has Agdistis as the child of Sabazios and Kybele, the latter Agdistis becomes after a forced gender reassignment by the Gods. In the Ancient Greek reasoning, Agdistis is created by Zeus impregnating Gaia, mimicking the creation of the Giants. Both have strong implications on how intersex and other nonbinary identities were perceived by the Ancient Mediterranean people, as well as modern pagans.

Makes me feel like I need to go back to school and study Classics...or Near Eastern Art and Archaeology.

I realized that the pocket sized planner that I planned to use for my 2026 goals was actually much to small for me but I also didn't want an A5 sized notebook again so I met in the middle with a nice A6 notebook. I almost considered my beloved B6 size but the vibes weren't correct.
